Bought for a 4 year old to do experiments under supervision. He loves it and asks to do science actively choosing to do experiments. The instructions are clear and everything you need to do the experiments is included.Some concepts are above his level of understanding but he's enjoying the reactions and his vocabulary is expanding!

Great for kids, would recommend

I got this for my 7yr old twins to try out and they love it. There are 36 different experiments that can be done. The boys were very excited by it all as they do love Science. Their opinion of the kit is, and I quote,…“It is good fun,It is helping me learn new things.I like the goggles because I don’t want to hurt my eyes.We like doing the experiments together but sometimes my brother is a bit annoying because he isn’t doing it right.It is annoying that there is only one badge.The book is easy to read and helped me to the right thing.I really really like this.”So it definitely gets a thumbs up from them and another one from me as I love seeing them learning through play.

I bought this as a gift they stuck the lable on the box with the price details on it which is impossible to remove and there is no packaging so if left outside imthe box would be ruined, i expected much more.

It’s a good quality first science experiments, cons of a little booklet with a step-by-step guide on what to do it’s pretty much full proof. Would make a fabulous present as it’s within that price range for the amount you get it’s a bargain. My son absolutely loves this set

A brilliant collection of items for 36 experiments, this set contains everything a child would need.You’ll need an old tray to do the experiments and some might be better done outside.It comes with safety glasses and gloves and a very comprehensive easy to read instruction booklet.I’m not convinced this would be suitable for a 4 year old but it’s definitely perfect for my 9 year old grandson but even then he’s going to need some adult help and supervision.I’m very impressed with this science set, it’s both educational and fun.

The experiments are interesting but the English on the instructions is poor and the names of the ingredients do not match the labels making it a bit of a guessing game. Some ingredients are also missing (or are labelled differently!). This was a gift, but I wouldn’t spend money buying it
