Great Shellac Flakes
I dissolved these in denatured alcohol, and they completely dissolved without leaving any residue or matter at the bottom. It applied very well and when dried it was apparent that the shellac was evenly distributed over the surface of the wood. All in all it was a great product without any negatives. I let it sit three days to dissolve, so giving it adequate time might be part of the equation.

I’d buy again.
I can not complain at all. Remember to use denatured alcohol as opposed to isotropy not quite exactly sure the science behind that but I do know using isotropic alcohol takes a whole lot longer to become not tacky

Did not harden after three days
It's been a few years since I've used shellac so I ordered weewoday blond shellac flakes. Item was received and appeared ok. I made a 2lb cut using 99% isopropanol to test it. Flakes dissolved fine with frequent shaking over a couple of hours. I applied three coats on one piece of wood and one on a another. Both were placed on top of a warm seed starting mat to speed drying. The three coat piece is still tacky after three days (leaves finger print marks if lightly touched, easily gouged). The one coat piece feels similar but the coating was not thick enough to leave a glossy sheen (was waiting to do more coats). I'm doubtful that it will ever solidify.I would not recommend it. Not sure if it is a bad batch or maybe my 99% IPA could be bad (doubtful).

Works as expected
I used this as per Phill McKnights YouTube on two Fender Tweed reproduction cabinets. Worked fine

Nice blend
I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this due to a few reviews stating that there was problems with drying. I experienced no such issues.I ground the flakes with a coffee grinder and mixed a 1.5 lb cut. It mixed exceptionally well in under 20 min with absolutely no contaminants.I further mixed with BLO 1 part to 3 part shellac.Application was flawless utilizing padding method on scrap cedar. Went with 5 light coats with about an hour between coats. Sanded with 400 after 3d coat and everytime between coats thereafter. Satin finish was the results. Applied wax over the top.On another sample, the same process was used with the exception of two additional coats of amber shellac on top instead of wax.I am satisfied with the results for the price.

Good
Good but it would be nice if it would come with recommended instructions. Although, I went to YouTube first before purchasing it.
