John FriedaDeep Sea Hydration Shampoo Moisturising Shampoo for Colour-Treated, Dry, Damaged Hair, 250ml

After years of trying different shampoos, this is the best I have found for my thick wavy/curly hair. Finding a sulphate/SLS free shampoo that doesn't dry out my hair is very difficult. I noticed this was not for sale for a while, so I really hope John Frieda don't discontinue it. The only shampoo and conditioner I buy!

This product came well packed and is ready to its a sturdy sized hydrating shampoo and works well it's a soft cream consistency and last long so good value for money so a great buy thanks

If I could I would give 0 stars for this shampooMakes my hair stick to the scalp, like wet, all day long. First I thought I forgot to wash off hair conditioner so washed again but soon realized the same problem. Its awful. I am over 40 with bleached blond/ dry hair and I have never in my life used any shampoo like this before. Its almost disgusting as it feels that the hair is very very greasy even though I washed it 5 min ago. The texture of hair after wash is awful too. Shame I cant return it, it’s actually not fair, as its going to the bin. I like other JF shampoos I dont understand what formula they used here to make it so absolutely unusable.

Starts off for the first week as nice .but slowly there is a build up on hair.which now feels heavy and lank .probably wouldn't use this again. Good if your hair is really really dry .not the best of his products.

I'm over 70 and my hair is dry and thin and just 'awful'I bought this shampoo, well, because I try every shampoo hoping it will make my hair feel 'younger'. This actually did make my hair more soft, fuller (unlike this hair-thickening-shampoos crap)It just felt 'better' ! Hard to really describe without you being able to feel my hair.It's good.End of.Try it. I did and love it !

There are so many kinds of shampoo on the market and so many differing needs that people want from a product that it can be hard to offer an objective view, but all I can say about this new one from John Freida is that I found it really impressive. The formulation includes oils with coconut a stand out ingredient and panthenol also features and this gives you a strong clue as to the benefits you can expect. Firstly the texture is quite slippery offering very good and quick coverage of the hair. I have a sensitive scalp and I noticed no irritation at all after using this one no doubt partly down to the soothing properties of the panthenol. After rinsing out which is easy you do notice a real silky smoothness to your hair which feels really good and which, in turn, helps with the combing out of your hair with less tangling and frizz. The fragrance is light with hints of lemon and as it dries your hair feels both clean and nourished with the seaweed a factor here. The final big plus is the scalp feels hydrated and much less tight with less flaking. What is particularly welcome is that all these benefits come in a shampoo which is very affordable, comes in a decent size (250ml) and comes with a matching conditioner which reinforces the positive effects. The absence of sulphates and the recyclable packaging are the icing on the cake. A must try new shampoo which may end up coming your brand of choice.
