1oz is plenty!
The bottle had some dye on it but it must have come from filling as the bottle was sealed. If this happens to you, don't touch the dye on the bottle or you'll be scrubbing (your skin and your sink. Ask me how I know). 1oz in the overflow and it turned my coolant into a glowing ectoplasm green. No need for a UV light- you'll see this stuff easily without it. I hope your coolant leak is an easier fix than mine!

You may want to order two
Although the instructions recommended that it only treats a couple gallons it worked great for me. I forget what it said it treated but I used it for about 3.5 gallons and it worked excellent. I would definitely use it again, but I hope I don't need to.

helped solve my problem
It's easy to use, just open it up and pure it in. It's bright orange until it mixes antifreeze then it's bright green. Under a black light it lights up like super bright. I had a leak I couldn't find so tried this and found it in no time. It was small leak on hose that was just replaced, I couldn't find it because it a was slow leak that was dripped in hard to see place and burning off due to the heat of the engine. I couldn't have the leak with out it. It's had no effects on coolant system at all

A little weak but worked at night.
The product worked but really struggled during the early evening to get it to glow. Worked well at night and helped me spot my leak. I would maybe recommend using two doses for a full rad.
