Eden 16030 5 Pattern Turbo Gear Drive Rotary Sprinkler Head for Lawn and Garden, 360 Degree Coverage

Having worked in an industry that requires quick connect fittings, I was so happy to see this sprinkler had something similar. It also comes with an extra attachment I put on my watering wand. Because of this I can just pop this off of our garden hose and pop the wand on for watering some of my hanging plants.This has multiple settings such as misting, but the head can also be adjusted higher or lower based on whether you have raised beds, lower beds, or just want to water the lawn. The base for setting the angle or area you want to water is also very consistent compared to some others I have had.

I would have rated these 5 star except for one listing error. At least with the ones I got, they do not fit 3/4" PVC threaded female fitting. They are actually 1/2". I have a grass area surrounded on 3 sides by woods. I have installed an above ground PVC irrigation system for the grass but located just inside the woods line. This is where I replaced the existing sprinkler heads with these. I really like the multi setting as it distributes the water more evenly than the Rainbird heads. I am buying more now.

Had a bit of a drought and need a good sprinkler set up. This did the trick! Good quality poles hold up the sprinkler. The plastic locking materials also seem robust and have held up well. Lightweight design makes it easy to move when needed. Holds good water pressure and has decent coverage for a smaller in town yard. Saved my grass!

Unlike cheaper ones sold at big box stores, this is very sturdy and has held up like new with heavy use last summer and fall. Recommended!

I bought this with the goal of watering grass seed in a large area. Of the various spray patterns there wasn't one that was good for this. The large spray pattern sends the majority of the water to one specific place instead of spread evenly over the area. I don't know who would have a use for that. The one named multi was the closest but it didn't work well either. When using the multi and then adjusting it to get a good range of yard watered I found that nothing up close is getting any water. If you adjust it down to be able to spray some water in the area surrounding the sprinkler then the distance of watering is very reduced. It seems like whoever designed the spray head doesn't water grass and didn't test it in a test scenario like trying to water a large area. I've noticed there are other "brands" on Amazon selling devices with the same exact rotating sprinkler head design. Apparently this is just a random cheap design that is getting pumped out of the factory quick. After using it for a while and failing at spraying over a wide area and also up close I started having problems with the rotation mechanism. It started getting stuck/stalling in certain places. To me, this is not well designed or executed. Likely designed by someone that has never watered grass.

You see a lot of these lawn watering products and they don’t cut it. I tried many trust me. This one has by far a long mile has been the best one I have used to date. Design is good and smart, connections was easy, water capacity is good as well. Overall a great product for the money. Would buy again. I may buy another one to one for front and the other I have for backyard. Great lawn coverage as well.

The adjustment feature is handy. It piece did fall off and couldn't hook a hose to it. Was able to force it back on.
