My husband uses his laptop everyday for college. The case has held up for over a year of daily use and still looks great with little to no scratches. It fits the laptop well and was easy to use. Very good quality and value for price.

When I got my HP Envy last year, I was looking for a hard case for it on Amazon and other places, but I couldn't find one. On a whim, I decided to look again on Amazon for my particular model series, and I found it! There were only 3 colors left available for me to chose from, and I didn't like any of them at first. I decided on the red color since my mouse is red and black. It fit like a dream! It makes my laptop pop! It's not like I lose my laptop very often, nor to I mistake my laptop with my husband's, but it does look like it will keep my cover and bottom clean and scratch free. I'm happy that I was able to find one that fits. A word of caution if you're looking for a hard case to protect your HP laptop: Know your model number and follow it to the letter before choosing one for your laptop. One of the major causes of returned cases is that it wasn't the right model and the case didn't fit.

This was very easy to install and will protect the laptop from normal wear and tear and scuffing due to sliding and small bumps. However, it will not allow for the laptop to open into full tablet mode as the two added rubber feet cause it to stop from opening completely. Also, the rubber feet give the keyboard frontal lift causing the laptop to tilt back and I can see this causing some wrist discomfort and you would need to place something under the backside to lift the keyboard forward if you require it for comfort. This added lift does give for much better ventilation with keeping the laptop cool and there are plenty of vents to allow air circulation and sound but an expert sound person may experience slight boxiness from the polycarbonate covering the sound vents. If it is a concern for anyone needing full opened and flat tablet mode I would highly recommend against this purchase otherwise it is a great laptop protector!!! I'll try it out for a week and see if it works best for me. I do think it will be great for my needs.

protective and does not move out of place. i have had this protector on my laptop for the past 2 years and i have no complaints. it does what it needs to and is not ugly. i got clear.

It clicked on the top part but in the bottom part of case, the tab didn't match and the cover wouldn't stay in place. My 10 year old was able to see that the fitting didn't look even, before I even tried to put on. I'd give this 0 starts if I could

First of all, it was very hard to find a computer case that fit my computer. This one does alright. The top piece fits well but the bottom isn't the right size. It is just a smidgen too big so it slides around and pops off the computer. I can't use the tablet function of my laptop with the case on which is annoying, but not the end of the world. It its perfect for someone who likes to put stickers on their laptop, and it isn't bulky, but it's just an okay case. I'd say buy it because there aren't many other choices.
