As a business leader , I am very familiar with most of the topics in this book and practice them every day. However, I still learned a lot of new ideas from this book, and this encouraged me to look at things differently and really energised and inspired me.I like the fact that there are lots of models and the book is clear, easy to follow, and kept me thinking and reflecting on what I normally do as a leader, rather than just continuing to do the same things in the same way. The authors know know their subject very well and have obvious experience of managing people and dealing with managers and leaders

Decent read

This book is different from the run of the mill management books. It concentrates on the 'soft' skills that if employed will achieve the same results as the 'stick' but are preferable because the end result is a happier team. I used it to help me with my Level 3 Leadership and Management course. Useful.

Book arrived with back cover peeling off and damaged corner. Cannot be gifted in that condition.

great book, I am really enjoying reading it. I find it is an easy read and hits all the good points about people management and even provides for you to reflect on yourself as a leader.

Many relevant areas of people management explored in an easy to understand style. Will be referring back to parts of it for some time.

Very insightful and concise. Real food for thought.As a first time manager, a real tool that provides reflection and advice to go forward and promote team and individual growth.Yes, I would recommend.
