This magnetic accessory is a must have item if you want to use your DJI OM 5 or 6 easily and without having to use the awkward clamp that is provided OEM by DJI to hold your phone to the gimbal. The magnetic base fits onto the gimbal with proper placement guaranteed by the extruded bar built onto the unit (see pictures included with this review). Once fitted, the phone is tightly held to the gimbal and even violently shaking the gimbal will not detach the phone.For those without MagSafe phones there are 2 metal rings provided either of which can be placed adhesively to the back of your phone which will then allow connection to the magnetic base.This is a simple yet great way to up your usage of the DJI OSM 5 or 6.

Easy to open packaging, much appreciated! This magnetic phone holder allows the user to easily attach their phone to the Osmo Mobile 6 without needing to use the bracket clamp that comes with the gimbal system. Even if you have a phone without MagSafe, CloudValley has included a metallic ring that you can install on your phone or phone case that will bond with the magnetic base on the OM6. Using magnetic systems like this is so much more convenient, spontaneous, and simple. I try to use them for everything I can, it make a big difference.

The media could not be loaded. Lasted a week before I had to apply a new adhesion sticker. Magnet separated from adhesive backing while taking phone off the gimbal. Unfortunately, I also could not balance my X & Y axis back to 0 degree's after I applied the phone holder. Also note that the phone holder is 1.65 oz., which if you are like me, counting every oz. if your phone is nearing your gimbal's weight limit. If you are not nearing your limit, then you shouldn't have to worry about it. I consider myself to a very active videographer because I am filming outdoors every weekend at our local theme parks. So I am always moving around and I need to be 100 sure that my phone will level out it X &Y axis, nor fall off the gimbal.

Robust and "heavy weight" metal magnet. Fits perfectly on my iPhone 12Pro with Mag Safe Cover. It holds very strong and connects securely to my DJI Osmo 6. It's a very clever idea and you don't have to bother with attaching and detaching the original DJI phone clamp. It's also like a backup for me or if I'm using a second phone, just a quick "phone changer". It also comes with 2 metal rings for people who don't have a phone with Mac Safe functionality. Highly recommended. Bought a second one!

Sticks really well and works really nicely to make my phone attach quickly to a DJI gimbal. But there doesn't seem to be any sort of magnet in the leg part that sticks out of the ring, so the phone isn't always going to be perfectly level in placement. Sometimes the mount needs a little tweaking so that the phone is perfectly level once the gimbal is turned on.

I don't like the clip and magnet attachment that comes with the DJI OM 4, so when I saw this holder, I knew I had to try it. I have a clear case on my iPhone that allows for wireless charging and this magnet holder holds strong through it. I would definitely recommend this product. When I upgrade to the DJI OM 5, I'll order another one for sure.

Wow this magnet pretty strong, after snap on my 12 pro, it really refuse to let go, I have to twist it to side to remove it. The OM6 could calibrate with this new magnet.One down side is that it leaves mark on my iPhone leather case, guess that’s the price for securel
