BY FAR the BEST studyguide series for this course
we have brought a number of study guides for this course but this series of books (the coursebook and workbook) seem to be the best learning resource so far. It is packed with all the curriiculum as well as case studies, self assessment questions, activities and end of module assessments. Its all broken down into the relevant topics you need and has a whole section on the scientific skills you need for the course at the beginning.

An interesting course
My 13 year old son is studying this with a friend and its a really interesting course. I do think text books tend to aim to communicate information in the most boring way possible! There are useful colour diagrams. I‘ve spotted a few mistakes in the text, but it‘s easy to work out what they mean - just the odd word missing. If you want to study for this exam, this is the book you need (the workbook to go alongside is useful). I‘d recommend supplementing it with YouTube videos for more visual learners like myself!

So many errors!
Quite shocked really that they have produced a book with so many errors. It is incredibly boring, off topic, questions and images don’t match up so you are unable to complete the work.It makes using it incredibly frustrating.our first thought as we try to use it, as a new page is read is how many errors we can find on the page.Which although a fun game, distracts away from actually being able to use it to study from.Better now we know that the book is hopeless, first we believed they were correct and we were stupid when we couldn’t answer the questions correctly. But instead it is the answers they give that are actually wrong! One or two would be understandable, but the amount of errors means someone didn’t do their job properly before it was published, very poor quality work.
