i bought this for my pet beardie and its perfect, it has all they need in one light and is sturdy and well made , it came perfect with no scrathes or anything! recommend if you own a reptile (:

The item seems good value for money. First purchase was faulty but the seller very quickly sorted the issue out. Time will tell if the bulb lasts.

Great but don’t use as a sole heat source
This is a great product that does what it says perfectly, and also provides sufficient uvb. However this won’t heat up a full viv for the people who might think that, you will still need something like a ceramic heat emitter for the night cycle and also while it’s the day cycle, make sure the viv temp stays at around 30 degrees c and the basking spot about 39 degrees c.

D3 100w bulb one and a half years on
First impressions are good with this bulb as it gives off a good amount of heat and light. I do have one caveat though and that is that there is a small (1.4mm) bubble in the dome of the glass that was already broken out on receipt (thus one star down) I was worried that the resulting weak spot could cause the bulb to shatter when it changes temperature, but after a month it is so far so good. I will try to remember to post updates as and when the bulb fails, I expect at least a years service as that is what I got from the similar but more expensive Arcadia bulbs I have bought previously.Update : May 2019So almost a year and a half on and it's still going strong. Pretty impressed upping score to 5 stars.

This bulb is excellent quality have used for my keeping my 69 year old tortoise nice 👍 and warm he loves basking underneath it and the uv helps stimulate him into eating more frequently as this year he came out of hibernation early and was very sluggish a friend recommended this bulb to me and it’s worked a treat thankyou
