I've arthritic knees & have a wheelchair for trips out, but it hurts my back as I've got low protruding disc. Would the cushion be good in wheelchair?

Our cushion is used mainly by my wife and mostly in the car. It does a good job making the car seat more comfortable by adding that little extra padding to the whole suspension system. I would venture to suggest that it would not be so effective in a wheelchair as the chair seat is flat and relatively unsprung and possibly wider than a car seat. The car seat is also shaped to support the buttocks at the sides and thighs at the front. The cushion could not do all that in the confines of a wheelchair seat.

Where does the handle go please? I find this so uncomfortable and painful to sit on that I can only hope that I have it in the wrong direction.

I do not understand the question as the handle is at the back and should not affect the comfort. Mine is so comfortable one of the best buys I have ever bought.
