The quality of this is not good. You’ll need to use more of it and once you do that, the final product, and in my case, tofu pudding tastes sour, and quite unpleasant. I’ve ruined a few batches trying to lower the amount per instruction and the soy milk wasn’t coagulated at all. Also, even using a higher amount for coagulation, the tofu pudding still has a lot of water content pooling around.

Use double the recommended the amount for tofu pudding
I followed the instruction but cut down on the amount since I wasn’t sure if it would be a success. I used 2 cup of heated soy milk and 1/8 tps of GDL. After an hour, I checked and it was still liquid, I added another 1/8 tps, which bring it to 1/4 in total, left it there until the next day and got my tofu pudding. It tastes just like the one I buy from the supermarket. There is no weight aftertaste or anything.I didn’t make my own soy milk, I bought the fresh soy milk from the supermarket. But if you want to make your own soy milk, don’t use the one made from the soy milk machine, the machine blend the bean then heat up the milk so the bean residual would still be there and cause it to fail. If you will have to make the soy milk manually, as in soak the bean, the blend it with water, extract the milk then cook it. It’s a lot of work but the end result is very rewarding.
