I have tried all kinds of lights for my large barn and these are hands down the best and brightest. I hate the UFO lights because they all blind you if you look up and these disperse enough that it wont blind you but they are just ridiculously bright.

I am not paid for these reviews.This is a well-made pair of LED shop lights, about two feet long and about thirteen inches wide. They are less than two inches "high". They produce almost 20,000 lumens of light at a "daylight white" color temperature of 5,000K, for only 165 watts of electricity. If that is too dazzling for your purposes, you can simply "switch" down from 165 watts, to 110 watts, or even down to 80 watts, and receive less illumination for each lower setting. That can save significant electric power, if you don't need the full brilliance these lights are capable of.These lights can be mounted directly to the ceiling, if desired. I will say that the LEDs and the control circuitry does produce some heat, and you might want to consider leaving room for airflow to cool these lights, if you want them to last the extraordinarily long time LED fixtures are capable of. Easier yet, you can simply suspend them a short distance below the ceiling using the Vee-hooks and chains included. They can be direct-wired, or they can be installed using the standard three-prong plug and electric cable also provided.If you need even greater control over the amount of light in your work area, you can simply install a 0-volt to 10-volt dimmer control as you install the lights. The dimmer is not included with this package.These are nice LED shop lights, and I do like them. I recommend them!

Was a little unnerving getting on the ladder to hang these but boy was it worth it! Very bright lights that have been reliable! Easy to hookup and had really helped the productivity of my shop.

Have had the lights up for about a month and they made a huge difference in my shop. Very bright! My one complaint is there is very little room in the housing if you're going to be wiring these in a series. I'd recommend buying junction boxes for each light you're going to be hanging.

I have a workbench in the back of the garage that came with a T12 fluorescent tube light fixture. I tried replacing the tubes with LED equivalents, but always had problems with them not starting every time you turned on the switch. It would only work with one fluorescent plus one LED. In the end I got so frustrated I ended up replacing it with this LED shop light.Hookup is very simple. Just undo the lid of the hatch on top of the lamp and fish out the three wires. There are covered holes in the top of the lid. Pick which one you want to use and pry the metal cover off. You have standard black white and green wires you can easily wire into a grounded three pin plug or attach a longer cord with a plug on the end. Plug it into an outlet and the lamp just works. Chains with hooks and triangular mounting brackets that attach to the lamp are included so you can hang the lamp between rafters or you can attach the lamp to the ceiling.The quality of light from this lamp is excellent. It is very bright. The 5000k is equivalent to indirect natural daylight in color. So there is no yellow or blue cast. It’s perfect when reading or matching colors. Makes everything very easy to see. Not only that, but the lamp turns on reliably every time with maybe a 1 second delay. I couldn’t be happier with it.
