I really didn't need the charger, but it IS more convenient than plugging a USB cable into each cell.It will charge both Lithium-Ion and Nickel Metal Hydride cells. Offhand, I would charge one type at a time without first referring to the instructions. That said, this charger is the first NiMH charger that handles cells one-at-a-time. I have yet to charge NiMH 1.2V cells with it. As an Li-Ion charger, it also charges one cell-at-a-time.NiMH cells require constant current charging, while Li-Ion require constant voltage while charging.My Li-Ion cells show a red LED while charging and blue when charged and still under power. The charger shows a solid green light for each cell when not charging, while the green light blinks while charging. Each cell has individual indicators.I like that I can individually charge cells, unlike my past experiences with charging two cells at a time. I have seen these two cells die when fully discharged, showing full charge until they die, making the device switch off. Lithium-ion batteries are different from other types that slowly drop in voltage toward the end of their life.With individual charging, there is little-to-no chance of overcharging the strong cell and undercharging the weak cell.

First month about this it did awesome charge battery to quick just like it did it's like they say it did but I've had it I think 3 months 4 months now it's already quit working I'm not even going to fool with it hopefully by maybe we just got a flute and they're still good but mine was not no good at all would I buy it again no what I recommend it no it's confusing the lights if what the lights are on it don't give me no explanation now I will not buy another oneOkay these people read my review and took it on themselves to replace this for me so I have to change it back to five stars just for the customer service I don't know how long it's going to last I'll try and see but they went beyond what most companies do I did not contact them they counted me and made good on their product

This overheats, most slots don't work at all.

It worked like is to do! But, to me the charge was to slow! Maybe is to be that way? The Campany knows?

Charges fine and shows battery charge

Just bought some 3000 mAh EBL 1.5v AA Li-Ion batteries. Tried plugging in charger into 2 different USB sources and a PowerBank. The Imren completed its cycle each time (green non-flashing light) but when I put the batteries on a multi-battery tester that has been very accurate in the past it showed the batteries only had a 60-80% charge. Don’t know if it’s the EBL batteries or the Imren charger that’s the problem.

Works well. I’m very pleased. Recommend

This is a fine charger. I'm very pleased with it. The only negative is that without instructions it is unknown whether the batteries are charging or charged, but I figured it out. And their customer support is outstanding.
