I need to preface this by saying that my well water is treated before it gets to this filter. It goes through a 1 micron sediment filter, a water softener and 1 micron carbon block filter. Nevertheless, I've had trouble with rust discoloration on my plastic shower wall. So, after about 2 1/2 months, I changed the filter in this showerhead. What I found was a lot of rust in the showerhead before the filter, none after it. So it's working. The only reason I subtracted a star is because I'd like to see cheaper filter replacement cartridges.

Love this! Don't have great water pressure and it can use a decent number of settings. A couple don't come out as strong but I know that more our actual pressure and not the item

I am a firm believer of a water filter, especially in the shower. Your skin is the biggest organ you have and the chlorine that’s in the tapwater just dry my skin out so terribly plus we should not be having chlorine going through our system and anything you put on your skin goes through your system. So I bought this. It was a great price. What I have noticed difference is my skin is not quite as dry as other times, especially in the winter but the biggest the biggest change I saw was my hair. I’m Italian. My hair is thick. I don’t have a lot but it’s thick and it’s course and it’s wavy and I found that when I wash my hair in the shower, my hair is so soft that I pretty much can’t do anything with it so I had to change hairdos to a softer look because it just wouldn’t hold the curl, but I can live with that because I know that it’s better for my hair and better for my skin. I do not know how long they will last I do not know when I need to replace it. It was a very good price. I think it was a black Friday price. I would highly recommend any filter on your showerhead but this one low cost did the job and I’m getting used to a new hairdo

I read all the reviews on amazon to make sure the pressure wasn't too low for this shower head before I bought it. Just about everyone said it was good. Unfortunately, it's not the case for me. I even took out the little washer with the screen, hoping it would help,but it didn't . Very low volume and hard to rinse my hair and body.But on the plus side, my hair and skin feel great! I hope to get used to it!
