Q: If we really need a replacement of the filter, what is your recommendation?

It comes with an extra one. Just find the one it needs on Amazon. But there is no need to change it unless you get liquid all the way through to the top.

Q: Second question. Our application is pippeting organic solvents, typically methylene chloride. Will this cause problems with the unit?

The unit itself should be fine, I would check the filter element and make sure the membrane is compatible with this solvent in case that gets wetted

Q: The ac adapter appears for a european stype fitting. does it come with a us style?

The electric pipette controler is selling in USA amazon , the AC adaptor is US style as showing in the attached video. In the Euro amazon website, we will include the european stype adaptor in the box.
