Bapmic 52105555AA Transfer Case Shifter Control Linkage + 68078974AA Bushing kit for 2002 2003 2004 2005 Dodge Ram 4x4

Best kit for 2004 ram1500 4x4 5.7L and good for price been going strong in my truck for two years so far and use the 4x4 all the time. Install is easy just make sure you plug in transfer case wiring if you have to unplug to install.

Rubber bushings only last so long and both on my linkage failed at the same time. I was able to find the old linkage where it fell off and debated just buying the bushing kit, but for the price, I decided to replace everything with this kit. Mopar wanted $55.00 for the same product. I used the old linkage to space the adjustment block. Used a little silicone grease to make bushing install easier, snapped the linkage in, done. Thirty minute job.

I am one of those people who often review only if something was less than satisfactory with either the item, or the service - delivery - or some other aspect apart from the actual item, that is, the whole experience.The Transfer Case Control Linkage and Bushings were as advertised, and was so easy to install. It seems the product was quality, thought I just installed it so time will tell. Surprisingly, this Bapmic product was distributed and manufactured in Germany. What? Deutschland, not China? Wow! When does that happen? Hopefully that means something to my advantage in terms of the quality and lifespan of the part.This Control Linkage is a poor design on Dodge's part, it being held in place by two rubber/synthetic bushings, with no retainer clips, pins, or nuts. The bushings degrade over time, leaving nothing to hold the Rod/Linkage in place. I can't fault the replacement part non-OEM suppliers in this - they are just supplying the replacement part. The original made it 16 years, so I guess that's not bad, but would not have to ever be replaced if designed with hardware to stay in place. We'll see!

Perfect fit for 2007 5.9 diesel. Easy to install.

Fits exactly as it should and made from good material at a quarter of the price of a factory part for the same quality. Installed it myself in about 20 minuets and worked perfectly.

I cant belive dodge would stop to such a cheap idea on a part that when you need it to work you need to know it's there. Even a retaining clip so it wont fall clear out and your stuck with no 4x4. At times when you need 4 wheel drive the last thing you need to do is crawl under your truck to fix this or use your hand to shift into 4 wd

Fit my truck like original. Tricky to install because of where it goes but installed with no problems.
