Gapless L Shaped Cob Led Strip Light Connectors 10 Pack and 2 PCS Solderless Extension Track Lighting Connectors for 5V 12V 24V COB LED Strips

I used these to frame a rectangular mirror with led cob lights. They work great with my 8mm 2 pin cob daylight led tape, and the smooth, clear side of the connectors lets light shine through perfectly. I love that the lights can be formed to make perfect 90 degrees angles since cob lights can't be folded the way the tape lights with diodes further apart can. Pics were taken during the day but i tried to show different light level situations. First pic shows light off. Second is almost all the way full brightness. Last pic shows almost fully dimmed. I haven't taped down the corners yet.When inserting the led tape into the channel, i found it's easier to peel down an inch of the backing paper and get rid of the tackiness first by pressing my thumb onto the sticky part and getting some oils from my skin onto the adhesive. This allows the led tape to slide right into the channel and all the way down. Instructions say to put the led tape into the long leg of the corners first.There was a section of led lights that didn't work after i taped it down and pulled it off. I simply cut out the broken lights and connected a new working section using one of the straight connector pieces. It looks beautiful and that piece is hardly noticeable.All in all, these are highly recommended. Super easy to use and can help you out of a jam in certain cases!

The media could not be loaded. I'm putting together some small COB LED strips and thought this pack of connectors would help speed up my project. The seller is Gxilee. These connectors are for 8mm COB strips. I learned my lesson that "regular" LED connectors don't work with COB strips, since they are a little thicker in the middle.This pack comes with 6 straight connectors and 4 corner connectors. They allow you to insert ends of 8mm COB strips right up against each other and press down the hinge onto them and make a tight connection. They're nice and clear and hardly noticeable from a distance. You can open and re-use them if needed. I did find I had to remove the adhesive tape backing (not the adhesive itself) of my LED strip before using these.They are a little tricky to open being so small and I don't have the best dexterity. But, I got the hang of pulling both sides of the opening out to lift the hinge up. You do need to pay attention to the polarity in your strip before inserting them.I'm pleased with how these work. They allow for quick connection (no soldering) and allow the light to look continuous both in straight and 90 degree connections. I recently tried a different brand and these are far superior to them.

These little clips are perfect for extending or making turns with LED strips. With everything in the one piece makes it a lot cleaner with the connection and less light gap.
