Clean!
Clean fresh tasting water at a very fair price. I got these with the fridge tank to replace my old one that was very expensive to use as the filters went up again by £6 and didn't last very long. My new filter is just as good and is a fraction of the price. Well worth the money.

We always have a Brita jug in the fridge; these cartridges are fine but you do have to change them on time.

I ordered the BRITA MAXTRA+ Water Filter Cartridges, and they arrived quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. The filters fit perfectly and do exactly what they’re supposed to—improving the taste and quality of tap water by reducing limescale and impurities. It’s a reasonable price, averaging about £5.23 per cartridge, which is great value for a year’s supply of filtered water. Definitely a reliable choice for anyone using a BRITA water filter system!

Only use OEM filters
As usual these are the original Brita Maxtra filter units. I never ever use replacement models as most of all the reviews on here are not good for them... and many people tend to go back to paying a bit more for better filtration of water.I tend to use each cartridge for 6 weeks instead of the recommended 4 weeks and I have never noticed any change in flavour of water. This was a box of 12 for a year lasts me for 18 months.As long as you ensure correct priming of the cartridge and filter/throw away the first two filtering uses then all is fine.

Best filter yet
I have used Maxtra + filters for a couple of years or so and the one noticeable thing is they last about 50% longer than the previous maxtra filters. I use filtered water for drinking and cooking also to preserve the taste of the food. Tea and coffee taste better so I would never do without them. I have a second jug in the fridge door so I am now using zero plastic water bottles and getting great tasting water, Only slight drawback is that they are dearer than the previous maxtra filters but last longer and are recyclable just like before. If you care about plastic waste then this is the best alternative.
