Great for tall people! Really stable
I'm quite tall and need my monitors up high, and nearly every pole provided with screen mounts is only 40cm tall. I ordered a 60cm pole to replace the 40cm pole that came with the DM151X2 and it makes a big difference for me, exact same diameter so it was an easy replace. The diameter of 32mm is fairly standard so I'm sure this could be used with other mounts too - I'm using an old gas arm for my second screen as it's also the same diameter. The stand is bigger than the normal one, so the center of the pole is further from the edge than the other normal duronic 40cm pole, but I highly recommend this product, for £20 it's great.

Non-standard diameter.
Nice and robust, just be aware these are 32 mm diameter - not the 35 mm that is more popular for monitor poles. Easily rectified with some 2 mm thick polythene sheet as a shim.

It's a pole.
I have a 24" monitor on a gas arm that gets moved about frequently - and I wanted something more fixed above that monitor. Most kits are designed for monitors at the bottom, which I just didn't need. So I bought this along with a spare DML5 BK arm. This combination worked perfectly, allowing me to have a monitor above my floating arm. This pole is a simple affair, it comes with a rubber stick on pad which helps protect the top of your desk from damage. It clips on, so you will need a lip to your desk and room to screw in the clamp - there is plenty of depth to the clamp for different thickness desks. Once tightened up the pole seems very secure and I have no concerns about the monitor high up on it.

Please make a wider diameter
Only remembered this wasn't a standard diameter pole when I tried to add my accessories. Another commenter mentioned cutting up a bike inner-tube. This worked well for me, though I had to pull three lengths over each other to achieve a suitable grip. Shame it didn't come bundled with a couple of those cable tidy clips - as my previous ones don't fit this smaller diameter. Can't grumble too much though as I couldn't find another 60cm pole anywhere else on the web. My posture and spine is greatful.

Does not fit properly with my existing Duronic mount.
The pole is about 3-4mm (diameter) smaller than the pole that came with my original mount. The only way that I've managed to get the arm to fit is by over-tightening it to the point of nearly snapping the Allen key. The arm is in place, but it's wonky, and I'm not too sure that it's going to stay in place long term. Ideally I'd get a refund, but as there doesn't seem to be a suitable replacement, I find myself stuck.

Good, solid post
Not the cheapest, but its a good solid post, and worth the money.

Surprisingly stable and does the job
Bought these extra long poles as I realised I was looking down and forward a little bit, causing me some poor posture.Replaced the standard poles for these, simply slipped the old arm off the existing pole, and slid onto the new one once fitted to the desk. Got two monitors hanging off the one 60cm pole. Nice and stable.
