Excellent product, real value for money
This product was purchased to replace a similar model (Trio) which, after a few years' intermittent use, collapsed (the main bolt sheared), whilst sitting on it in the Naval Museum in Constanta, Romania. (Sorry but I love to name drop. After scanning Amazon I found this particular product which I ordered and was delivered (on a Sunday!) 48 hours after ordering. The price (which has been reduced by £5 I noted today), was less than 50% of the original item, slightly lighter, and much easier to handle due to the excellent padded handle. As a walking aid it is fine but as a stable seat at an ideal height (easy to lower into and above all, to stand up from) it has no equal. I carry mine on to the aircraft (after a little persuasion and scanning due to its superficial similarity to an AK 47) and it is ideal if stuck in a queue prior to boarding the 'plane, to fend off queue jumpers and sit on.

Sit with caution
I bought this for my mother when she was visiting but I would have been the one carrying it as it is too long and heavy for her to use if she were on her own.I have passed it onto a neighbour since. You need to be careful sitting onto it, I would advise that the handle is to the side when sitting down so you can hold onto it to ensure it is stable. Even better still, if you are wearing trousers, sit with the handle in front, between your legs.Useful and good for the price.

Walking Stick with Seat
The idea is very good. It is light and sturdy but a little too short for me. The main rubber tip only lasted a short while . Be sure you can get replacements and a hand strap for convenient carrying. A godsend when waiting in a queue.

It is safe
Bought it for my sister, she was delighted with it, so light and hangs over her arm. Thank you so much

Compact and useful
I purchased the Motionperformance Essentials Disability Medical Aid Folding Seat Cane after researching similar items. This is an ideal solution that can be used as a walking stick and slides out to make a small but reasonably sturdy seat. This looks well made, although the cane is a tad shorter and overall weight a bit more than my normal walking stick, it is still a comfortable to walk with. The seat is small so not the most comfortable to sit on, but it is a sturdy weight carrier, and the rubber feet are slightly rounded so suitable for use on carpet or solid flooring, even grass lawns although does tend to sink into the latter if the ground is very wet! It is very useful dual cane/stick - great for those who need to stop and sit down when walking or use on outdoor trips / picnic / concerts. Very pleased!

Will only seat a child under 8 years of age.
Unfortunately this item would never seat an adult. The item is small, really close to the ground when you sit on it, like sitting on the chairs in a primary school classroom 😳. The actual seat part is a hands width across. Like I said great for kids.

Handy and good value for money.
I already had one of these which i have used fairly regularly for about a year. The middle ferrule wore through and I bought replacements which are not expensive but the legs being angled they didn't fit well so I decided It was more cost effective to buy a second seat/cane and leave one in the house and one on my mobility scooter as I am always leaving it in the wrong place and forget to take it out with me as well so having two is so much better.I can also use them in the house and the garden. The seat could be a little bigger but that would probably affect the balance and the leg spacing.Very quick delivery.
