HP Sprocket Studio Plus
My review on the HP Sprocket Studio Plus 4x6 Wireless Instant Photo Printer, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! This compact device is an excellent addition for anyone who loves to capture memories and wants to bring them to life instantly.Pros:• Ease of Use: Setting up the printer was straightforward. It connects seamlessly to my iOS device via Wi-Fi, and the process was quick and hassle-free.• Print Quality: The premium dye sublimation technology truly stands out. The photos are vibrant, with deep colors and crisp details. The quality is comparable to what you’d get from a professional photo lab.• Portability: The compact design is a major plus. It’s small enough to carry around, making it perfect for events or gatherings where you want to print photos on the spot.• Fun Editing App: The accompanying app is a lot of fun to use. It offers a range of editing tools, stickers, and filters, allowing you to get creative with your photos before printing. The interface is user-friendly, and I appreciate how it integrates with my social media accounts for easy photo selection.• No Mess: The printing process is clean, with no need to worry about ink cartridges. The paper and dye ribbon system is easy to load, and the prints come out dry and ready to share immediately.Cons:• Cost of Refills: While the initial cost of the printer is reasonable, the price of the paper and dye cartridge refills can add up, especially if you print a lot of photos. It’s something to keep in mind if you plan to use it frequently.• Size Limitation: The 4x6 photo size is the only option. It would be nice to have more size flexibility, but this is a minor gripe considering the quality of the prints.Overall, the HP Sprocket Studio Plus is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to print high-quality photos from their smartphone. Whether for scrapbooking, gifts, or simply preserving memories, this little printer delivers excellent results. Highly recommend!

Size matters
It's the best photo printing kit for any mobile phone that has android, small, compact, very easy to use, just scan the QR code and of you go, buy the extra bits ur going to need them and will save you money

Worryingly buggy
Absolutely terrible experience with this printer and its replacement. Put simply, it point blank refuses to download or initiate a firmware update. Ordinarily, this would not matter of it worked, but the app persistently suggests a firmware update is advisable and available, but then it just hangs for hours and never completes or self-disconnects altogether. Then, it also loses WiFi connection for no apparent reason. We have a stable and fast WiFi connection with many different devices connected with no issues. We've tried several phones with the latest software (Google Pixel phones running Android 15 and an iPhone 15) to get the printer to play ball with no success, and also two iPads. You should not need a degree in computing to attempt to make something that is designed to be easy to use work, and yes, I have a computer degree... This experience has ruined what was a thoughtful gift. HP and Sprocket help absolutely no help at all either, and of you Google the issue you'll find many instances of the same/similar issues with no response or resolution available. This should have been a premium experience having paid a premium price for a small device, but the opposite has sadly been true, likely down to faulty software on the device itself.

I found it impossible to setup.
I tried to set it up, I couldn't get it to work. My son also tried. The printer kept cutting of during the update. It would start to work then stopped.I had to send it back.

Broke after three years, no support available
Once it's out of warranty there is no one who is interested in whether your Sprocket continues to function. Mine doesn't connect to Bluetooth any more and it took me two days to find anyone who would even talk to me. HP don't support any more. The third party company they supposedly use did send me instructions to reset it to factory settings, but they didn't work (e.g. I was supposed to hold the button down until it blinked, but doing this just turns the unit off). Really, don't waste your money. I wish I hadn't.

Poor quality photos and buggy app
I was very disappointed in the quality of the prints. The resolution was poor and banding could be seens on the photos. This was true both of photos taken by my phone and high resolution images from my wedding photography. The app was also buggy and needed restarting multiple times.I am returning this product
