Cat Approves!!
I bought this heat pad to try as it's microwavable rather than some of the other types that are plugged in constantly. Yes, it does lose a bit of warmth after a few hours but I've found slipping it under a cat blanket insulates it and it seems to stay warm for a long time, especially if the cat is lying on it. My cat is feeling the effects of arthritis and once he realized there was a warm spot he was straight on it, and has used it every day and night since. I microwave it in the morning, and again at night. Like most cat owners I was waiting to see if my purchase was going to be ignored (like various cat toys and beds over the years!!) but it's been a resounding success. I'm very happy with this product.

Hottie Heat Pad
It was ok on the first night, although it only stayed warm for about an hour. On the second night, which was last night it exploded in the microwave. Very upsetting as my cat could have benefited from having extra heat, as it's a cold and snowy night tonight.

Would not buy a number one
Used this item 3 times post be claw resistant don’t think so my cat has already put two holes in it waiting to hear from seller about returning wouldn’t buy another one

Might be good… but burst in the microwave
Although I followed the instructions, mine burst upon the second use. It was great until then! I can’t help but wonder if I did something wrong, so perhaps don’t blame the product. I’m sticking with the hard-shell type for now!

Spoilt cat wont sleep without it
HRH Lola won't even consider settling down for the night without her hotspot - this is the 2nd one we've purchased. The 1st lasted ages even though it gets microwaved every night. Her Majesty definitely recommends

Disappointed
This is no where near as good as the hard one I already have, bought this one because it's soft & I can put my bunnys water bowl on top of it to stop freezing up this winter. It doesn't get very warm & warns you not to exceed time specified in microwave.Also if this was for bunnies bed I suspect they would chew it as it's soft.Would not purchase again

Served its purpose for a little while until after 4 weeks my pups teeth punctured the pad so had to bin it, but luckily she no longer needed it
