BubbleBlooms Calathea Stella in a 4 inch Pot Rare Variegated Prayer Plant, Cathedral Plant, Green and White

I was so curious as to how this plant would arrive. But they did such a great job! There is minimal weak spots and a lot of great roots! I have included the plant next to a water bottle for size comparison. I do feel it’s a bit pricy for the size, but it’s a beautiful little plant. I can’t wait to see it grow!

i wanted to wait before writing a review, i’m glad to know it can exist in PA weather since some reviews warned about specific environments. just need to really keep an eye on it and make sure it is watered and misted well (unless you have a humidifier), you will have no problem. i have had several new growth since i got it over a month ago. the color and pattern is unlike any other plant, stunning and fun to look at.

I was very unsure about ordering a plant on line. I just kept thinking it would be a disaster, but I really wanted this little baby. I decided to give it a try one time and see what happens. I actually received it before the scheduled delivery..which was a plus. I got home and saw this box on my door, when I looked at the return label I was surprised that it came early. The box was a little bent and squished and my first thought was "Disaster ". When I opened the box I was so excited to see that they really took the time to make sure that the plant would make the journey. It was packed so well that the only thing that was wrong with it was a little bit of dirt (dust) was the sack. All of the leaves are beautiful and strong. I gave this baby a good drink of water and a window. It's absolutely beautiful you won't be disappointed ❤️

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE 2/23/25 I am increasing to 3 stars up from 1 as i was able to revive the plant. Word to the wise this appears to be a Fusion, not Stella. Anyway it must have r been healthy at some point.Plant arrived mostly dead. Appears to be two 2 inch plants potted in 4 inch pot. Angry at company but waiting until I cool off to contact about a refund. I have ordered many many plants online and never have I seen one so carelessly package. Avoid this group.

Ordered a 4" pot size. Arrived with only two leaves about 4" long each, one of which was quite sick-looking. After about a month, that leaf was crispy and fell off, and the other one did about another month after that. For the money, it was far smaller and weaker than I'd anticipated at firstEDIT: That being said, after the first leaf fell off, two new leaves (from two separate rhizomes, I believe) emerged almost immediately. After the second sick leaf was gone, two MORE leaves sprang up, and two more are on their way, about 3 months after arrival. This plant is now bringing me joy and a little bit of pride (however unwarranted) because it appears to be thriving, if still small. It's definitely not unhealthy or sick, though -- just growing happily. I've also ordered other plants from BubbleBlooms, and now this one appears to be doing as well as the rest, if not a bit better!For the record: I replanted this and my other BubbleBlooms calatheas in calathea potting mix I found on Amazon, and I've been watering them with distilled water.

I never get five stars on a review, until now. I could not believe how quickly my calathea came. It came so much earlier than planned. I was so excited when I saw the box, I couldn’t wait to open it. When I opened the box, I saw the best wrapped plant that I have ever received. I have been buying plants for many years, and I have never had one delivered that looks like I had just drove up to the store and bought it here in town. She is beautiful her color is amazing. There’s no damage on her at all. And she is much bigger than I thought she would be. I am so pleased. this is definitely going to be my go to nursery from now on!!
