Q: How many egg whites is this the equivalent too?

the powder weighs 113 gm and on the packet it says use 6 gm with water which will equal an egg white. Thus 113 s 6 equals circa twenty egg weights give or take tad.Oh and it is a large egg white once it all froths up.Have fun.

Gluten-free is not mentioned on the box. It does put ingredients as : corn starch, egg whites, sugar, gum arabic, calcium sulphate, citric acid, cream of tartar, art. flavours, silicon dioxide. Hope this helps. Barbara Lauder

Underwhelming meringue powder.

I was a little disappointed. It took ages for it to whisk up to the desired thickness, and it needed more powder adding to the amount of water stated. Not very economical.I like Wilton products, and this is the first item made by them that I've been disappointed with.
