Husband loves it
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. I just wished I could have personalized it with his actual name and not just his initial.

With some work it's a decent knife
First the good: The Damascus pattern is cool. I was able to get a nice edge on it with my Spyderco Sharpmaker. Now the bad: The scales rub against the blade and make it very hard to open and close the blade. The pattern ground into the spine of the blade is not symmetrical.I used some Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish on the moving parts and opened and closed the blade 100's of times while watching TV one afternoon, which really helped free it up.

Soaked in some kind of oil
I have yet to take the plastic off. It is very oily. Soaked. I don't know if anybody has the same issue when they received it. Once I get it opened and cleaned up then I can see how it is.

Not impressed
I should have saved my money these look cheap I’ve got a feeling it won’t last long either. Not satisfied with this at all and sadly I ordered two.

Decent for the price point.
It’s a nice enough looking knife but it has all the same pitfalls of these imported Damascus folders. The pivot is gritty, the lock back is stiff and the blade is full of uneven ridges from the mystery Damascus. Mine arrived with a large discolored spot on the blade. The leather sheath adds no value as it will surely fail once hung from a belt; these riveted thin strips of leather always tear away from the rivets. No recommendation.
