A brilliant paint that’s great value!
I’ve never used this brand of paint before and wouldn’t hesitate to do so in future. The paint is heavily pigmented, a true black with a soft sheen finish. It doesn’t drip much and dries really quickly. I was very nervous of the finish as the first coat predictably went on quite streaky over white gloss, though this was probably due to my brush. Nevertheless, the paint is almost self-levelling and so the second coat finish was surprisingly lovely. I painted my handrails, posts and lower bannister rail- all with 250ml tin. So a little goes a long way. It doesn’t seem to scratch off easy, which is another bonus in a high traffic area. Overall, I’m really impressed!

Excellent product, inadequate packaging.
Used for a restoration project, turned out beautifully. Finish is perfect, nice and even, and it goes on smoothly and easily. Dries v fast. Comes off very easily though if knocked or scratched, particularly on polished metal surfaces, so would recommend several layers. My only suggestion would be to improve packaging by adding some cushioning, as the tin rattles around in the large box. As mine arrived by being thrown over the fence, this meant it was dented and leaking by the time I got it which wasn't ideal.

Quick drying and easy to clean paint brush.
I wanted a quick drying paint, as I was painting railings, I was very happy with the Rustin's satin black paint, I brushed on the paint, it went on smoothly and covered really well, I was painting over existing paint, but sanded it and degreased the railings before I painted, it didn't appear to use a lot of paint either.

Delivery mistake.
I did think the parcel was delivered to the wrong address, but the guy had took it round the back. But the product itself is brilliant, dries lovely,no smears or drips.
