That said, getting this RAM for < £60 delivered when all the other major on-line retailers are selling it between £75 and £80 + p&p is an absolute steal.One area to pay attention is the RAM heat sinks as they are quite large and if you have a CPU cooler that overhangs your RAM slots on the motherboard you may have issues getting these sticks to fit. Corsair do actually sell a low profile version of this set if your struggling for space which dont have the heat exchange fins on the top of the units. Before you make the purchase, review your motherboard specifications to ensure that this particular RAM is supported. If it will be ADDITIONAL to existing RAM, then ALL the RAM used must be the same technical specification (not necessarily the same brand of manufacture). I am using this RAM on two desktop PC's, and am well satisfied with my choice. When installing, keep your PC's PC cord plugged in to a 3-prong well grounded outlet, and the PS on/off switch turned OFF (this grounds your PC box and all content). Insert the RAM with great card, as it fits very tight. Support the BACK of your motherboard in that general area, else risk cracking the motherboard. Push back the motherboard locking clips, then carefully slide one end of the RAM fully into the slot, followed by carefully guiding the rest of the RAM so that it fills the slot. Then, when you push down on one end of the RAM you should hear a CLICK, and note that the locking clip has locked in that end of the RAM. Repeat for the other end of the RAM. Ensure that the RAM's guiding 'slot' correctly lines up. If you experience trouble getting the RAM into the slot on any given attempt, back off and retry - carefully. In extreme circumstances, you may have to remove the motherboard in order to get the ram installed without causing damage. If you have never done this before, find someone who has. I have 32GB of this RAM installed on each PC, and in each case it took me around 20 minutes to accomplish - and I have 35+ years experience!
