EBH-01 Electric Heating Lunch Box, Light Blue

I love my little lunch box. I just plug it in when I get to work and my lunch is hot and ready to eat by lunch time. Once I figured out that you have to put your food directly in the lunch box and not leave it in the small container that is in the box, it worked very well. Another tip, don't expect "hot" in the 30 minutes they tell you in the instructions. I plug my box in at least two hours before I eat. All in all, I absolutely love skipping the microwave line! Finally, a product that works the way they say it does! Definitely worth the money.

After wasting 10 minutes of my lunch standing in a long line for the microwave at work, I decided to give this lunchbox a go. While the instructions provided are simple enough, there is a little bit of learning curve. Best summed up, allow your foods to rise to room temperature first. Place solids in the lunchbox 45-60 minutes before you intent to eat. If heating soup, Place liquids and solids separately in the lunchbox 1-1.5 hours prior to lunchtime. Occasionally remove the lid to stir foods around to ensure event heating. Your food won't become extremely hot, but a nice temperature for eating.I don't regret my choice.

This product is awesome, I don't have access to a microwave at work and after 20 plus years, I finally can eat my leftovers from home at work. It takes about 1 to 2 hours to heat items that were refrigerated but I'm there 8. Already used the soup bowl to heat water for coffee, tea, or hot choc. My co-workers are starting to order this also because the smell of my food made them wish they could have hot food also. The size of the compartment is more than big enough to hold my leftovers the added soup bowl is a bonus. The unit is easy to clean and fits conveniently in the lunch bag I already have.

Update dec 2018I ran across my old review today. I stopped using this within a month of purchase. It was too much of a hassle with liquids seeping out and didn’t hear hot enough for me. I switched to a mini crock lunch reheater - the larger of the 2 sizes and that works so much better.Original review dec 2016I bought this to carry my lunch to work and heat a meal without fighting the line for a microwave. Depending how full, the meal will get to 120 to 130 * F in about 2 hours when sitting at room temperature. I doubt this would work at all in a cold environment. It just doesn't produce enough heat. It barely gets a meal warm enough that I will skip going to the microwave.The inner container holds about 14 oz on the large side. The smaller side likely holds about 6 oz. I haven't measured either exactly. The separation in between is not removable. This isn't a great container for carrying wet foods - there is no seal. In order for the lid to latch correctly, the inner container needs to be used. It's lip sits between the outer heating compartment and the lid that has the integrated handle. Without the inner container, the lid doesn't patch correctly.I have reheated a frozen microwave meal in it and it was okay. Most meals state to heat them hotter than this is able to heat in order to reduce chances of bacteria growth. I'd say this gets meals to that danger area so you'll want to eat as soon as it gets to temp.The cord is pretty short so an outlet will need to be close to where you use it. There is no on/off switch, but a light indicates while it is heating.It will work for my purposes but I wish it were a bit warmer than it is.

This product is outstanding if you like wasting your money. It literally took 30 minutes to heat food up when I tested it out in my house. I purchased this item for my daughter to take to school to warm up some lunch I strongly suggest you do not buy this product it is a complete waste of money. If this product had say a lithium battery and you can charge it and heat up your food that would be great but having your children try to locate an electric socket is not going to work

Bought this product for my husband after reading reviews. He works out in the heat and is in & out of his vehicle all day to locations. As other reviews state this isnt a quick warm up but if you plan a routine you will find this is a great product to heat up your meals. It gets plugged into 7am and by 10:30 is hot...even melts cold cheese to the meals perfectly. Think slow cooker on warm setting.....this has been great no more cold meals.

Always a pleasure buying one of these. We have two now, and they are great at keeping food warm/hot for extended periods. I had to have a device like this for my 5-year-old who goes to public school now and is allergic to just about everything in the school cafeteria. She should not be deprived of the opportunity to eat a hot lunch like every other child in her school because of her numerous and dangerous food allergies. So, I found this item on Amazon, and I am pleased as punch about it. I bought the second one for myself.
