Beautifully done with great details
Looking at this thunderbird I keep expecting it to move since it's so finely detailed and looks so very good. It's a perfect rendition from descriptions in the book of magical creatures which, considering the price, is extremely well done. I've bought several from the series and they're all beautiful and lifelike.

Thunderbird figure
I am a huge Potter fan and love magical creatures. So I collected most of the first set. The latest series comes out, and I am happy to buy this bird. I was pleasantly suprised at how fast this thunderbird was delivered. But when I opened the box and took a look at it, I was disappointed. The previous magical creature series had fine detail and a beautiful paint job. This poor bird looks great from a few feet away, but closer you can see how bad the paint job is badly done on the head (especially the eyes and beak) and the legs have a deep grove where they are attached to the rest of the body. Like a child was given the bird to glue together. Next time, I think I am just going to find the next magical critter at the store so that I can see before I buy.
