very nice watch but a bit big for me although it wears nicely and comfy. for 36 quid this is value for money

This watch would give a Casio G-Shock a run for its money.It’s lightweight, 50m water resistant, nice indiglo backlight, stopwatch, countdown timer, 5 alarms, hourly beep, dual time mode and birthday alarms ( set an alarm for someone’s birthday or anniversary).A very comfortable watch.2 downsides to this watch: The hourly beep is not worth noting. Do a favour and switch it off, but the alarm is very good.Second downside: that bizarre second’s counter in the top right corner of the screen. It serves no purpose whatsoever and a bonus bit of rubbish is that the bezel on this watch is pointless as it is made for an analog watch and not a digital.That to one side this is a good, solid built watch that you can wear for work or sports.

I love the style of this watch, it's chunky and looks prominent when worn. It has an almost military style feel to it.As you'd expect with a watch like this, it's shockproof, water resistant upto 50m and has usual functions such as alarm, date, stopwatch and timer and has the INDIGLO back lighting that makes the digital display glow when the button is pressed.It has 4 buttons (2 on each side) that are clear to read and understand with an intuitive face.It has a large case at 50mm and is 16mm thick which feels good on the wrist.This has a UFC logo on the back screw cover and on the display, with no other UFC logos elsewhere, so is subtly branded.The watch face glass is mineral crystal which is strong and clear and is partially protected with the raised bezel.If you are looking for a gift for the UFC fan who also loves a stylish timepiece then this is a great choice of watch. Black and grey also looks great together.The price is pretty good at £49 at time of review and is the cheapest price I've seen from other retailers who are charging slightly more for this watch.Great quality and a nice addition to my watch collection (I love collecting watches)It arrives in a UFC branded gift box with cardboard outer to keep it protected.Good gift idea for UFC fans.

Okay so this watch looks the part really but falls massively short of what my initial thoughts were and it’s kind of disappointing or lacking in a various bunch of factors which could honestly make it 100% better in my opinion.Firstly this watch is water resistant but I’d never personally use this going diving probably just swimming and then you have the plus that it’s wearable in the shower if that’s something you do, the bezel on the watch as much as it looks like it can rotate this is entirely for show which kind of rules out something that would be suitable for anybody who does bush craft more so as it’s a compass type of bezel which can’t be adjusted to get bearings.Comfort wise I find this nice to wear on my wrist not really any weight to the watch compared to others I use strap is your everyday run of the mill type of silicone/resin whichever it may be but feels nice to wear a huge negative about this watch is there is zero instructions of use included which means you’ll have great fun learning about this all by random which is not a really strong point no matter what any watch I’ve owned has came with some type of instructions to help you get everything done and dusted this nope.Personally I don’t just think I know there is watches out there cheaper which are definitely better but still this is a okayish watch when looking past the serious amount of flaws but at the same time ultimately a watch is a watch and if it tells the time it’s doing it’s job but I can’t remotely give this any higher than 3 stars based off the experience I’ve had.

A nice rugged-looking sports watch offering dual time, alarm, countdown timer, date and backlight. The bezel is just for show (it doesn’t rotate) Its water resistant up to 50m, but only really suitable for general swimming (definitely no diving). I found this rather disappointing for a watch which is clearly made to look like something you’d wear whilst active. However, I was prepared to overlook this until I discovered that the display is acrylic. To me, any watch designed for active wear should at least have a mineral glass. Acrylic may handle impacts quite well, but it has a low scratch resistance, meaning it will look pretty shabby in no time at all. The strap isn't that comfortable either, which is strange as I've never had a problem with resin straps on any of the watches in my collection. Worse still, there were no instructions supplied with the watch. At first this was fine, as most manufacturers these days direct customers to the internet to download this. Not so with Timex. The watch isn’t even listed on their site, and an email to customer services has so far gone unanswered. So, after a bit of playing around I have managed to set the time and date, but that’s it!I know £50 isn’t a great deal to spend on a watch, but its not super cheap either. In my opinion this watch doesn’t offer anything more than something half its price.If you want a watch that looks good and is just for show then you may be fine, but if you’re looking for something which can take some abuse I’d look elsewhere.
