Q: Is there a place i can just get the clamp where it attaches to the pole? Mine has snapped

Q: I heard some complaints about the connection of the pole to the base being made only by a screw, causing it to be unstable. Is this right?

I have the 2 screen model, it has the same kind of design for the pole - base connection and there is no stability issue whatsoever, with 2 24 inch monitors attached. It feels and behaves as a single piece after you tighten the screw properly. All pieces involved are metal, so there's no worry of something breaking easily if you over-tighten.

Q: Would the single stand be okay mounted on an ikea desk (linnmon version)? bit afraid that the weight would break the table as its hollow.

Mine has been used on several Ikea desks with no problem.

Q: I'm buying this to go on another pole - will the clamp that fixes to the pole fully come apart so I don't have to slide the clamp on from the top?

Hi Matthew, No, the bracket that clamps to the main pole is one piece, it has a split, but wouldn't open enough to fit around a pole, only slide on & clamp tight
