Verbatim 43411 Extra Protection CD-R discs
I have tried other CD-R discs in the past and found these the most reliable. I mainly use them to burn playlists of my classical music using Windows Media Player and I seem to get through dozens of them every few months. With this product, I have never had ONE failure; so it has to be 5 Stars! I realise they may not be the cheapest out there but do appear to be good quality CD-Rs.As well as technical reliability, the Verbatim discs are very robust and will take a fair bit of scraping and scratching before the data is affected. They even look well-manufactured. I've had some very cheap discs which are too thin and too flexible with a poor internal coating which is easily damaged. The cylindrical spindle box is also robust and easy to use. It opens/closes easily - again it appears well-made.I've had several laptops and all of them burn Verbatim discs perfectly, and at different burn speeds. The fastest burning speeds seem to be just as good as the slower speeds. So, definitely recommended. I also buy the little plastic sleeves available from Amazon and, although terribly thin, are usually a good price and more than adequate. Amazing price for an amazing product
I ordered these because my previous ran out.I was a bit skeptical to order these, despite the reviews because i've had a bad experience with them in the past.I ordered it yesterday and it came today, (one-day), as per the prime option. It came very well packaged. You will need to be there to take it, as it is a big big item.I do many conversions, such as tape cassette's to CD, meaning that I need to use them regularly, and thus far, the first few, seem to work absolutely perfect. To be honest, you won't find them much cheaper and these have amazing reviews, which does justice for what it is.Each one is of minimal cost, so if you mess one up, no problem, go and use another one.So to anyone reading this, fundamentally, it came fast, well packaged, great quality of service and the item itself is perfect for the average/advanced users needs.

Worse than a waste of time and money
Well there you go. I used to use Tesco CDRs, and then found that I had a problem with them retaining information, and so I thought well I will buy a brand name, and ordered this lot. What a mistake! The first 10 or 15 were fine, but then the problems started. I am a musician, and submit my work to broadcasters and other musicans/friends etc. Well I had the first colleague say that a cd would not play on her system, and I thought well I have had no problem, perhaps it was a very old cd player, but then a close musician friend said that he had had a problem with a disc. And I witnessed it! The durned disc would not play at all. Then I had a problem with my own gear. Even the computer that burned the disc would not play the brand new track that I had been working on. So I thought that I would find the UK address of Verbatim, and write to them, and let them know that they had a problem. I turns out their European office is in Germany. So I wrote to them, enclosing samples of their rubbish discs for them to scrutinise, and politely asked if they could let me know their thoughts, and maybe compensate in a small way for the cost of their discs.Guess what? They never even had the decency to acknowledge my letter. Absolute silence. How rude? What and awful company. I was trying to help them by alerting them to a problem that they have with one of their products. Did I get a thankyou?Their silence spoke volumes to me. What an awful company. I wouldn't touch them or their products with a barge-pole.Does anybody want about 80 useless Verbatim CDRs?No?I didn't think so.Avoid them like the plague. They should be removed from sale NOW!
