Much better than expected
I’ve been trying to my camera rig just right for filming action/fight scenes, and have been looking for a front grip “Tie Fighter” solution. I had the Camvate handle system and those are nice, but the handles hang down below camera in typical shoulder rig style. I was able to Mount these NITZE rosette handles on the Camvate bar, but more at the level of the lens, so instead of supporting the rig from below I’m pressing it to my chest while filming. (I bought 2: one for left / right.I found handles’ construction is WAY better than expected- solid with molded soft grips that are really comfortable, and multiple mount options on top. I look forward to shooting more action with my new Nitze setup.

Bought 2
Got 2 of these on the Nitze rig for my Z-cam. I’m new to rigging and all the different mounts. These use a rosette mount, so make sure you purchase the female rosette connections for your cage separately if you buy this handle. I recommend getting 2.

I wanted to like this, and I did but only for about 3 days of use
I wanted a Rosette handle with some attachment points for accessories and this looked like it would do what I needed. And it really did.The problem came in after about 3 days of use on set. The Rosette connection started getting loose from the "fork" piece that connects the handle to the Rosette. The solution would be to remove the Rosette piece and re-tighten what I assume are two screws under the plate. Unfortunately, it looks like some kind of loctite was used to keep the screws in (shown in photo) and only one could be removed, while the others just stripped out.So now the handle just wiggles all around and I'm sure eventually, the screws will completely unwind themselves and the handle will become useless without replacing the whole assembly. Maybe the manufacture or the seller will be able to help me with replacement parts, but it's a REALLY bad design to make it impossible to remove that plate to get to the screws to tighten it down again.I really don't care if it comes loose, but to not be able to re-tighten it is inexcusable. I have two other Rosette handles that I used exactly the same way and they have not wiggled themselves loose. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I would not be able to recommend this handle to others because of its durability.UPDATE: 7/5/23 The seller sent me a replacement handle after they contacted me after this review was posted. I can't say anything about the durability of the replacement handle, but I can give a 6 month update later. I'm raising this from 2 to 4 stars because of the manufacturer response to try to make this right. Nitze actually contacted me about a replacement. I did not ask. So that's pretty good customer to back up their products.

Nitze is quality
This is my second Nitze purchase, and I continue to be impressed with their build quality and design at a very reasonable price point. This handle has a nice rubber texture that is soft to the touch and comfortable on the skin, and is just grippy enough to be a great accessory for handheld shooting. The contour of the handle is ergonomic and fits perfectly, feeling molded to your hand. The mounting hardware is solid and well thought out. It's great that it's switchable to left or right side mount. That makes it very versatile for different rig setups. If you need an inexpensive hand grip, buy this with confidence.

Solid Piece of Kit
I purchased this because I could easily swap it from the left to the right side of my rig in a few short minutes. Smallrig makes handles, but in my opinion a lot of the equally priced items don't offer the same amount of features as this Nitze handle. It's got a cold shoe mount and a variety of thread holes. I really love the finger grooves in the grip, and allows you to get a really good grip on your rig. It's a solid handle and offers you the confidence you need when you've got thousands of dollars in your hand.

Comfortable, versatile and heavy duty!
I can comfortably and reliably use this rock solid handle on either side of my HEAVY Canon C200 rig. The cold shoe and attachment holes on top make it even more versatile. As a large and heavy beast it is probably not suitable for small hands. Typical great Nitze quality.

Smallrig clamp inside instead of the ARRI ROSETTE!!!
Why in the world was there a smallrig-branded component inside???? This is not the ARRI rosette I bought!! There was a Smallrig clamp instead of the Nitze ARRI Rosette!!! What in the world is going on, NITZE???
