Being used to hearing ticking and whirling, not loudly, but you know they’re working away, this one is totally silent. So silent I thought it was broken and was going to return. Works well well made

If, over the years you periodically replace the same certain items again and again, over time you begin to amass quite a bit of knowledge about those particular items and for me, this is one. Having owned and used a handful of various brands and types of timer plugs over time, this particular one is leaps and bounds above the competition to date.Having used one myself for a few months now I can reliably vouch on it's superior functionality in the field, so to speak, so if your looking for a reliable timer plug capable of operating safely under high wattage demands, a portable oil heater or high density lighting up to 2 x 300 / 600 watt loads for example - buy this. This plug is simply superior in it's design - it's smaller than other choices on the market, it's build quality, the look and feel of the thing is a grade above what you'd expect for such a low priced item and I'm genuinely chuffed with it.I have absolutely zero ties, allegiances or connections whatsoever to anyone or anything connected with this item. I bought one - I like it.

The only dislike i have is 2 or 3 times a day it makes a really loud ckick which is really dissapointing as apart from that its all good.

Functions perfectly as advertised

When I saw the price of this I thought it's a mistake or the item is crap. Considering other contactors are in the £50/60 range £9.31 seemed too good to be true. Anyway not being one to pass up a bargain I ordered one, hey I'll just send it back if it's crap. No need this little beauty is perfect, nice well made feel and IT WORKS! I've had my 600w Sunmaster D/S bulb and 600w Maxibright ballast on a 12/12 for 5 days now with zero problems. Very pleased so far. Will update all you growers out there after the 12/12 is over (8 weeks, and counting)Steve T4/1/2014 Update. Timer working like a dream. I ordered a second one also treated myself to a 600w/400w Lumii Digital Ballast and 600w Lumii HPS Bulb.31/10/2014. The timer is still 'timing'.1 on 18/6 with a 400w the other on 12/12 with a 600w. They turn on on and off no problem. Slight time lag ie 3-4 mins over a week but nothing to worry about.

They really aren't kidding about being solidly made. They last much better than other styles. Great stuff
