Decent
Not the sturdiest of work benches, however, for the price, it’s very good. It’ll do most light to medium jobs with ease. I’d recommend this work bench for casual DIY-ers doing odd jobs around the house. If you’re looking for a work bench that would suit trade, I’d say buy a more expensive one that is better suited to heavier work loads. All said, this particular item is very easy to assemble, good quality and very much value for money. Recommended.

Great value - just don't expect premium quality.
This is a superb buy at the price (£12.99), and I can't fault it for value for money. I wanted another workbench for my garage so that I didn't have to keep going out into the shed for my much sturdier premium brand workbench. I'm delighted with the Silverline bench - it does what it needs to do. It's lightweight, feels a little flimsy compared to other benches, and you have to build it yourself using an exploded view of the product. But - hey - it cost less than £13 and for that value is hard to beat. Certainly on a par with a Screwfix bench at RRP £19.99. This bench is perfect for occasional use but don't expect to build a house or even a kitchen using it - absolutely fine for clamping/chopping/screwing etc. Five stars for value; three stars for quality; four stars overall. You can't buy any more for any less.

Functional but not very sturdy
I bought this for a project I was doing - building a chicken coop. I don’t do a lot of woodwork and it’s reasonable value for what you get. A worthwhile purchase for beginner - but not really suited for bigger projects as it isn’t that solid. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble on my own, so no difficulty there.

Cheap, light but sturdy enough for odd jobs
I always base cheap buys off, you get what you pay for but considering how cheap this is compared to other models I was surprisingly impressed with how good it is.If your only going to use it for the odd job then it's perfect, feels light, feels cheap but really does the job well, I paid £18 so I didn't expect much but it was better than I expected. If you've got a big job on I'd spend a bit more but for the odd DIY job it's bob on.

Terrible quality
Where do I start? From the very start I knew it was going to be junk, the box was taped up and full of rips and impact damage. The metal frame was bent and buckled, the 2 stabiliser pieces that hold tools and are supposed to be there to make the whole thing sturdy had to be straightened and have all bends redone. The fibreboard wooden pieces were previously used and damaged, screws rounded off as soon as you put any pressure on them to tighten them, when you do finally assemble after an hour of trying to straighten it it wobbles like a rocking chair. The only thing that didn’t need to be repaired was the Amazon box it arrived in. I wasn’t expecting black and decker quality as this one was 30% cheaper but I was expecting something that was new, free from damage and fit for purpose. I only bothered to build it so I could make parts to repair it that and half the screws couldn't be undone as they had rounded off
