I bought this for my daughter in YR8 about to do her mock GCSE exams designed to decide what set she will be in for her GCSE's starting next year. This study guide is detailed and easy to follow at the same time. It is aimed precisely at her year group and she finds it extremely useful. Each unit includes catchy diagrams and highlighted key-words that my daughter finds easy to follow. The key-words are also presented in an easy to follow 'remember these' manner. Excellent in one parents opinion.

Good books, for home work.

My daughter is in year 8. She was worried that she was falling behind in her english so a friend reccommended this to me. My daughter has found it really helpful. Its good because she can just read it at her own pace and pull little bits of information out as and when she needs it. Great value for money....cheaper than a tutor!

Great book, clearly laid out. This has been very helpful for our transition from Key stage 2 to ks3. Also purchased the workbook which was also good to help consolidate knowledge

This is an excellent aid to help 13-14 year olds with their revision. It also helps them to study weak points in their own time and pace.The guide gives children the oppertunity to pick and choose modules and work them into their own revision timetables.As a parent, I would strongly recommend this book to work in conjunction and in addition to the school framework
