Real Review-Read this-wowwww
Real player here. I'm 60ish playin all my life. I have played and I own some really nice guitars. I love guitars.. BUT, they have to earn my loyalty --which most Do Not !.. I am Extremely picky. I play Blues and rock. I want a fast - loose-LOW- action on a fretboard that wants my fingers all over it. (only 100% Lemon oil for me). The frets - I'd Say - are Jumbo and a dream to play with all... ALL the room for my finger tips. The 'feel' keeps my hand up and down the neck without getting tired. It has GOT TO Stay In-Tune !! Zero fret and easy access to- tuning rollers- at your fingertips ! I want a pickup to be clear and crisp for my picking and then I want a Hott-light fuzz over-drive sound and tone when I am smacking the blues. Let it Bite each note and spit out Harmonics .. And whatever you do Don't weight down my should like a big Heavy Les Paul will..(I still love 'em). Let me keep my tuner close at headstock area.Ladies and Gentlemen This IYV Headless is such a Total Dream to own and Play. These pickups are a very nice surprise with all the tone/intonations/sound/reactions to my amp & Effect settings.I have listed many numerous "PRO's".. now here are the "CON's" -- 00000..I have zero=0 to list.. Nothing even remotely negative to say.. Great playing sitting or standing. If you are looking at a headless.. Then you know the average $$$ cost for a decent one is $ 800.00.. hands down !!I can not believe.. I do not understand how??? This guitar is under $ 200.00 .This is a $$ 1000.00 guitar e a s y .. It's an investment. I can not find a slight blemish anywhere in this..And let me say. it's black and orange. At first I thought yuck.. OMG !! you should see it during a gig with colored lights.IYV knew Exactly what they were doing with this color scheme..I am going to buy a second one , just because I know !! in time.. This will be a $ 1000.00+ guitar. My Dad always told me.." if it's too good to be true , it usually is "NOT This Time !!! Get this guitar if you've been thinking of a headless. Get this guitar if you want a quality playing guitar that stays IN-TUNE..Get this guitar and if you don't like it.. give it to a youngster .. They will have an AWESOME guitar to play and keep the rest of their Lives !!!Owned for 3 months...after 3 months-review 03/29/2025 love my IYV Headless here in Western ILLINOIS , Chris G.

Great guitar but work needed
I tried many sub $200 headless guitars, and this is one of the better one. Having said that, the guitar needed some work. Here are the pros and cons of the guitar:Pros:Great bridge: The intonation and string height adjustments on this bridge is among the best. They work just like the fender bridge. No need to unscrew saddle or locking/unlocking saddles for the adjustments. The tuner is smooth and easy to turn unlike the more common KD bridges that require a tool for tuning.Lightweight: The guitar weighs only 5 lbs and very comfortable to play. I have many guitars, but this one is becoming my go to practice guitar because of comfort.Neck: Slim neck which I like.Pickups: The pickups sound surprisingly good. Not the best, but good enough. I'll probably replace them in the future, but it's not an immediate need.Cons:Bridge installation: The individual bridges are not properly installed, and the A & D tuners are touching. I'll have to fill the screw holes and re-install the bridges so the tuners will have even gaps between them.Frets: Frets were heavily oxidized, and requires polishing. I ordered a replacement guitar, and it was the same with the bad bridge install, so I guess it's like that for all of them. Once polished, it plays fine.Pickup install: Pickups are not aligned to the poles. I'll have to re-drill the pickup mounting hole to adjust. When I ordered the guitar, I got the sunburst one, but when the replacement came, I received the red one like the one in the pic, so you don't know exactly what you are going to get. IYV should fix that.Pots: Pots are cheap, and the volume works almost like on-off switch, not enough taper. Probably will replace them when replacing the pickups.Even with some of the issues, I love the guitar. It looks cool, very comfortable to play, and I love the bridge with easy adjustments and no need for a tool. Fixing the minor issues is not that hard, but if you don't know how to work on the guitar, then you may want to look elsewhere.

But overall: Great headless for the money!
Despite the ridiculous manufacturers descriptions IYV provides for their guitars, many of them are awesome bargains. Seriously IYV, hire a native English speaker to write your descriptions.I bought one of these red headless guitars and liked it so much I bought a second one (it’s just as nice, too) to modify and refinish.Pros:Setup wasn’t bad at all - better than most and it plays great. Excellent thin neck design. No sharp frets. Pickups sound pretty good and they’re pretty hot. Bridge design is decent and better than my older Eart headless but not as nice as my expensive Strandberg or Ibanez. Very light weight. Well balanced. Looks cool.Cons:You’ll probably want to tweak the setup a bit. Strings aren’t very good. Frets need polishing. The paint job is a bit sloppy. Some body imperfections (that don’t affect playability). Shipping boxes were barely viable - I was lucky! Cheapo volume and tone potentiometers. But overall: Great headless for the money!

You get what you pay for- garbage
Junk. It took 2 hours to change strings- the pickups couldn’t be adjusted high enough to be usable. The guitar had great reviews on you tube. Maybe I just bought a lemon
