A little small for wide feet with high instep
I got the size recommended for my foot size. I have gorilla feet with a high instep and EEE width. I probably would have gone up a size if I knew.Another had issues with the foot pocket splitting. I had these stuffed and highly compressed in a carryon duffle pack for 3 weeks and 4 days of diving. No issues other than a little deformity in the foot pockets that did not affect diving.

Great addition to your Supernova fins, adds versatility to them
This closed boot allows you to have the Supernova as "two fins for the price of one". You have an open heel boot, that came with the fin, for colder waters or for people who prefer to dive with a diving boot (neoprene, fabric, etc) and have a closed boot (this one) to wear with your naked feet (or very light coverings) in warmer waters.The best of both worlds is now in your hands with no need to compromise in making a choice on purchase (open or closed....you get both this way).If you have a Supernova and want the ultimate versatility.....get this.I got it and never looked back.Big plus: exchanging the boots (open or closed) is a breeze. You can do it easily by yourself and on the fly.100% satisfied.

For me the footpocket was too narrow. No way to use wetsuit socks.

Cannot recommend - heel split on the first go.
Piece of junk. I ordered one size larger than the fin itself (XL). Went to put on the very first time when "POP" the heel tore out in a manner that I've seen other full-foot pocket fins do when they are very worn out. The fact that this happened the VERY FIRST TIME was disappointing.I'd give it a zero star if it was possible. Full refund is requested. I don't even want to give them another chance.

Hard compared to full foot fin - Not compatible with Large
These are quite hard when compared to a full foot fin. If they rub anywhere that will be a problem. They can only be used with the Mid sized SeaWind NovaPro blades. They DO NOT FIT the larger Maxi blades.That is a shame for folks that want the larger blade but have small feet.I will try the larger size.You'd think that they might mention the compatibility in the description.

Love these fins and their versatility
I really liked the idea of having fins that are efficient, easy to travel with, and versatile for use without booties or socks in warm water, or with a thick bootie in colder water. The ability to switch between foot pocket and strap on these is great, and I've now used them both ways thanks to these foot pockets.
