I bought this nicotine gum because I'm a heavy vaper and I want to switch to using nicotine replacement therapy and vaping nicotine free e liquid. I like this nicotine gum and it has helped me to vape with nicotine less and use my nicotine free e cig more. I so far haven't managed to fully quit vaping with nicotine though. If I do successfully quit vaping with nicotine completely and switch to nicotine replacement therapy I will update this review. I do like this nicotine gum but I prefer the Nicorette original flavour more as I prefer the taste and also because the original flavour isn't mint. I like mint but I've found that mint spoils the coffee I always like to have after nicotine gum. The instructions that come with this say to not drink coffee or any other kind of acidic drinks such as fizzy drinks and not to eat acidic foods 15 minutes before using this nicotine gum as doing so will stop the nicotine from being absorbed correctly and therefor the product won't work. That is true for most oral nicotine replacement therapies including not just this nicotine gum but any other nicotine gum, nicotine lozenges and also the nicotine spray. Because of this I always have my coffee after using nicotine gum and I've found that anything that leaves a mint taste in my mouth spoils coffee. I would recommend this nicotine gum to anyone who smokes or vapes and wants to quit or to anyone who just wants an alternative. Just be aware that if your goal is to quit smoking or vaping completely this nicotine gum won't do all the work for you and you will need willpower and it might help if you can find a support group. Also do be aware that the 4mg nicotine gum is only for heavy smokers or vapers and that if you smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day or vape the equivalent of less than 20 cigarettes a day you should consider the 2mg strength nicotine gum.

I was sceptical if these would work. I usually smoke like a chimney and smoke around 30 a day. I bought the 4mg ones, which are advised if you smoke 20+ a day. I usually smoke about 3 in the first hour of the day. WILLPOWER is a must when you want to stop smoking. My first day on these, I did smoke 5 cigarettes, but that's a massive step forward for me. After 3 days I was down to 3 x half cigarettes. You need to take 1 day at a time, and not see it a defeat if you smoke a few. I'm now on day 4 and I have noticed that I have a lot of heartburn, and acid but that's a medical issue I have with most stuff, but these are increasing that, and of all the side effects you could get, trust me to get the excess gas 🤣 I will carry on with them, and hopefully in a few days, will change them to a lower dose. It says you can chew up to 15 a day, and the most I've needed on a day was 9. If anyone says they don't work, it's because they don't have the willpower!!

Basically purchases specifically for help with urges, when sitting for long tattoo sessions.Worked really well, nice mint flavour, enough nicoteen to sort out cravings, all good as it sorted cravings out.
