Sofirn SC31T Tactical Flashlight Rechargeable, Super Bright EDC Flashlight 2000 High Lumens, Dual Switch, for Camping Hiking Dog Walking

I own a handful of Sofirn lights including the prior iterations SC31 and SC31 Pro and so far this latest version SC31T Pro is by far my favorite thanks to the combination of side switch and tail switch while running Anduril 2.0 with built in USB type C charging port. It's a very good value for the price and I recommend sofirn lights to my friends and family when they ask me what's a good light at a decent price with this one being no different. I use mine at the moment as a bike light using the universal olight bike light mount as Anduril has several strobe modes that are useful when biking. The flashlight is well built and the prior models that I've had are still all in service and have held up excellently. It is bright, has a very good run time, the dual switches are very useful, It is quite compact considering the performance, the pocket clip is reversible by switching the position of the light head and tailcap switch, USB rechargeable, sturdy, looks nice, very good quality. I bought a bunch and gave them as gifts at Christmas and every recipient was blown away. They thought I paid way more for the light. Sofirn scored major points for me without even trying. I just wanted people I know to have a really good dependable flashlight. Not some dollar store plastic special with carbon batteries dead in the junk drawer at their pad. The USB charging is so cool. I used to have to buy a charger to go with the flashlight. And then if to add a couple batteries that boosted the cost quite a bit. With USB charging I'm more apt to take the money saved and and put it to upgrade the flashlight. Gifting flashlights is cool because always get back stories about if they did not have it their life would have been pure misery and bright working flashlight gift saved the night. That makes the cost insignificant and why I gift them. I gave a dozen of these flashlights last Christmas. And that is just what I got from this seller. And very good they are. Shipping always fast and zero hiccups on every order. Hooked up with them after I already started gift shopping got other Sofirn lights like the C31 T(which is another good Sofirn product}. Sofirn is easier on the wallet or purse and quality is up there . . So yuppers I recommend this flashlight and seller.

I’ve been using this as my EDC flashlight. My main use has been walking the dog early in the morning. One of the first things I noticed and appreciated was how well built the flashlight feels. I have some flashlights that are four times the price and the Sofirn seems as nice as them. Only time will tell how well it holds up to daily use and abuse. It carries in the pocket pretty well but I do wish the pocket clip allowed for deeper carry. More than an inch of the flashlight sticks out of my pocket. There is a huge range of brightness levels from a really low output for reading at night to a super high intensity brightness for seeing far distances or possibly for self defense. When it’s on the highest brightness, it does get hot pretty fast especially around the head area. You can use the flashlight in a simple mode by just clicking the rear tail switch to turn it on and off. There is also a more advanced setting where you can change some of the settings but you don’t have to use that feature. The flashlight is supposed to have a mode memory but I will sometimes turn it off in the highest setting and when I use it the next time it’s on a medium setting. The flashlight has onboard usb-c charging and the port seals very well. Overall, I really like the flashlight and think it’s a good value.

The first thing you notice when you’re holding it is how well it fits into your hand and how comfortable it is to hold. It is a perfect size and shape, and has a great “hand feel.“The quality is excellent. I have several Sofirn flashlights and they are all beautifully made, very durable, and include high quality accessories.This flashlight is absolutely loaded with great, highly usable features. First of all, it is can be extremely bright on its highest turbo setting. Then there are eight levels of brightness altogether, from a very low 2 lm candle setting (great for when you have to get up in the middle of the night) all the way up to 2210 lm on turbo mode. You can set the SC31T Pro to step through these eight levels, or to ramp smoothly from lowest setting to highest. The Anduril software has a lot of other interesting functions which you can play with also. For example, when the flashlight is off and you press the switch three times, the light will flash to indicate the level of battery charge. If the light flashes three times, pauses, then flashes five more times, this indicates that the battery is charged to 3.5 V. A very handy feature!Another feature that I appreciate is the advanced temperature regulation (ATR) technology. If the light gets too hot, it will automatically adjust itself to a lower brightness level to prevent the light from overheating. You can set the temperature that you want this to happen. There is also low voltage protection, which steps the light down to a lower level when the battery is too low, to prolong battery life until the next charge.The SC31T Pro is a new improved model, which is 10% brighter than the previous SC31s and includes a new tail switch for quick and easy on/off. The light it produces is a good mix of spot (concentrated) and flood (wide).It fits nicely in your pocket and your hand, and clips to a belt or backpack. It is a great flashlight for hiking, camping, or EDC.
