I previously played this with two other friends and seriously enjoyed it, and I couldn't wait to own it! After trying it again, it has become a particular favorite in my board game collection and I highly recommend it. The cuteness of Bunny Kingdom's design makes this strategy game feel more approachable.It does take some effort to learn/teach, especially with the differences in the flow of play between 2 player and larger games. There are lots of little nuances to pick up on, but the challenge is fun! You can focus on building powerful fiefs, but there are also "parchment" cards that add variety and an element of surprise to play, giving you stacking bonuses, rewarding you for taking certain areas of the map, treasures, etc. Passing hands around the table and drafting cards leads the players to considering not only which cards work best for them, but which ones they DON'T want the other players to have.Just be aware that the first playthrough may frustrate players who are new to more complex board games. It also involves a decent amount of math, so break out the calculator and scratch paper for best results. It would be a great gift for a tabletop gamer that likes strategic thinking.The rule booklet is well-organized and clearly illustrated to help you understand the ways you place pieces and score fiefs. The board, cards, and game pieces are cute, whimsical, colorful, and on theme. The box feels quite sturdy and it arrived in perfect condition.

My husband and I are avid board game players and we tend to play one on repeat until we find another favorite. The game this overtook was Everdell (which we still do break out from time to time to visit our favorite characters, of course!) The simultaneous play aspect is amazing. The bunnies are cute. You never know who is going to win. Perfect combo of luck and strategy. Very easy to learn as well! Our 14-year-old daughter isn't into games as much as the rest of the family and even she joins from time to time.

This is such a fun game! We’ve played it a bunch of times with young kids, older kids, and grownups, and the game dynamic (which simple enough for kids to figure out) makes for a great, fast paced, and engaging game. One of our favorites for sure.

I first played Bunny Kindgom in a crowded, loud board game cafe and I was slightly confused by the rules, but my wife and I managed to play a full game with glee.Essentially, this game is a quick card drafting game where you plot out your kingdom on a grid using the cards that you draft, while thinking about what cards to discard so your opponent cannot use them against you. After each round (three in total), you count up points to assess the strength of your kingdoms. At the end, you tally up and apply special cards for bonus points.After I purchased the game, I really started to get into the game. My wife and I have mostly played 2-player matches, but we both feel the game is very well balanced and designed. We love the artwork and try to scheme whenever we can. My wife never played a game like this before, but she picked it up quickly and now urges me to play this more than any other game I own.Pros-Balanced drafting system-Great artwork-Clear board and components-Helpful guides for counting/multiplying points-Replayabilty-Works well with only 2 players!Cons-The rules are a bit confusing. I had a hard time understanding them in a loud room. When I read them later, some of the sections weren't as clear as I hoped. Videos definitely helped!-Counting. You have to make sure you play and discard. Counting helps at every pass, but you have to make sure you keep track!

We love this game! It's a good mix of closed drafting, area majority and a little strategy. It's challenging, but in an amusing and very entertaining way. This game is not too heavy, once you understand the rules. And it has a high replayability, so you definitely will get your money's worth. We had a blast playing this in 2-player mode. Highly recommend!

Great addition to any board game collection. Bunny Kingdom challenges players to decide whether to make a move that helps themselves or a move that hinders their opponents. Easy to learn concept with great replay ability.
