Metal tray
My Siberian husky hated the plastic tray he would destroy it and the kennel I went thru 6 brand new trays and kennels he would bend the wires trying to get out .We are so happy we found the metal tray he seems content and since we got it we have had no problems and he seems happier this tray is awesome it fits the kennel perfectly it's easy to clean I am very happy with this purchase

The Bomb!
It came slightly dented on rim, but that's ok. We didn't want to spend the money, but all plastic trays eventually need replacing, especially with Bull Dogs. My husband had been TAPING the cracks in the plastic one up. Dangerous in more than one way. This tray fits perfectly, and is easy to slide in and out, east to clean and disinfect. Should have done it sooner.

No chewing on this one
This was a lifesaver as my dogs would chew on the plastic ones. To fit the cage perfectly and I felt like I got my money's worth.

Some issues
Well built tray, but it has a few issues that are disappointing.First, the tray is too tall to slide into the tray slot beneath the crate door. This becomes an issue if there is a mess in the crate and I would like to slide the crate out flat and avoid spills. Now I have to lift the tray up, tilt it sideways and bring it out the door. Far from ideal.The second and even more disappointing problem is that the tray seems to give off some sort of black dust that the dog then gets on his feet and all over the carpet. (See photo) It is the kind of thing I might expect from graphite, but not aluminum. I think I might try to paint the tray in hopes of avoiding this. Other metal trays I have owned in the past have arrived painted.On the bright side, the tray is well built, the edges aren’t extremely sharp, and my dog hasn’t eaten the tray like he did with the last 2 plastic ones.
