Wonderful Homeschooling Companion
Having this workbook to compliment online homeschooling is great for my child and myself alike! I like the formatting of the book. As a parent, the format makes creating a lesson plan for our curriculum much easier. It's easy for the kids to follow and complete sections without getting overwhelmed. It helps increase our study time in the subject by about 50% and that's great!

Not in color, frustrating to navigate website for videos
I wanted a simple, easy-to-follow social studies curriculum for my 7th grader. This particular curriculum was interesting and received mostly good reviews, so I thought I would order and see if it were a good fit my child. The lessons are laid out for 5 days per week. They are short and easy to complete. We initially had difficulty getting into the videos, but after a few times, my child can now access them quickly. My child and I don't like that the book is in black and white. On the Argoprep website, when you click through the sample pages they appear as color pages. I did not pay good attention to that when I ordered on Amazon.I deducted 1 star for the initial frustration in accessing the videos and for the black and white pages.I will say that my child had not particularly enjoyed history/social studies until I found this curriculum. I'm surprised that she is remembering facts and telling me about everything she is learning.

Very easy to follow
These books make it very easy to home school and include video links for things that need to be explained more in depth.

Great workbook but be advised
I like how this workbook is set up. This workbook seems engaging. ***Be advised *** if you are using multiple of these books their printing is off a few pages from one to the next. I bought 2 for my students & one of them the info was on page 39 that was the same info in the other book on page 43. The one edition has multiple extra pages in the front.

Nothing here of substance
As a private tutor of students of all ages, I am intimately aware of the required skills for students by grade. This book is simply a weak addition to coursework that should teach children skills and relationships between developing issues that impact our world, the people, our history and our future. Seventh graders need material that guide them to explore the why’s, when’s, and why not’s of the events of our past and encourage them to ask and research more anyswers and questions. This book spoonfeeds stories and incidents with no relationship to the development of the world’s events or wonder to how the direction of these events brought us to today.
