I grew up in New Hampshire. We picked our own apples in the orchards every year. These apples are nothing like the fresh juicy mac apples we picked. They are very soft, not juicy or sweet. A few days after ordering these I found Mac apples in the local grocery. They met my expectations. They were sweet and juicy.My recommendation is DO NIT BUY these if you want real fresh macintosh apples.

McIntoch apples have been my favorite apple for many decades. The apples I received were disappointing. They were in good shape, had a nice flavor, shared some of the sweet tart flavors of a McIntoch but did not taste like the McIntoch apple I have come to look forward to eating every fall. I feel that I could have purchased this flavor of apple at most grocery stores. $100 dollars later I have learned my lesson. Do not buy apples online.
