Dangerous
My GrandDog just loved this toy - she's a strong chewer and she loved the crinkle sound! However what is not said in the description is the crinkle sound comes from a clear stiff "paper" inserted inside the toy, it is stiff and when bit down on the toy it gives the crinkle/crackle sound. We couldn't see what was going on and yesterday a small piece of that "paper" came out of the larger end hole - much to our surprise the clear stiff "paper" was in shreds!! Now if eaten I don't think the little pieces in the photo would be good at all for a dogs intestinal tract or stomach!! It really is a shame because she really loved that toy & noise - after removing all the pieces she's ok with the toy but not crazy about it any more. Had to give it a 1 star just because a dog could eat the pieces that fall out and have problems.

Frisbee
Oh yeah, this frisbee works out great, it goes far, my puppy of 10 months has not chewed on it, however , she catches it, the frisbee gets folded in half in her mouth as she brings it back , undamaged

Smaller size, still big fun and quality.
I already wrote a review of the larger Ruff Dawg flyer. My opinion of this flyer is the same in terms of the quality and fun-factor. This size is even better for smaller dogs. Our pup, Charles, is a 15lb terrier mix. He loves his regular size flyer, but he loves this one even more. He carries it around the house and even puts it on his bed and sleeps next to it some afternoons. Here is the text of my original review for the larger size.**************************************Product design? In a k-9 flyer? If it's round and flat, doesn't that cover it? No, you need more and here's why.The dog parks are littered with hard plastic flying discs left behind by owners. They are missing pieces after being clenched and tugged in too many jaws. They are slick with doggie saliva. The dogs start to ignore them. How is this different?+ Material. This flyer has a soft, flexible rubber that withstands sharp doggie teeth. You see indentations from teeth, but it is difficult to rip into pieces. Unlike the hard plastic discs that have chunks missing, this flyer will continue to fly well for months of play time. Also, though I've done no scientific tests, this always feels less slimy than the hard plastic versions. This greatly reduces the ick-factor related to extended fetch sessions.+ Shape. It's flat but has a slight lip around the edge. This makes it much easier to pick-up. We've tried dozens of flyers for our pup, but his lack of opposable thumbs creates real challenges when retrieving them from flat surfaces like pavement or a wooden deck. He never has issues with the Ruff Dawg flyer.+ Flexibility. This flyer is slightly floppy. It's very easy for him to fold in half and carry around. If you have a smaller dog, this greatly increases the fun-factor. Also, I'm never worried about tossing it around in the back yard. It doesn't harm anything if my poor aim sends it careening into a window or flower pot.You may think that all flying discs are created equal, but this one is much better for doggie play than any other we've tried. Charlie loves it so much that we bought extra in case one is lost.

Rubber disks that reall fly
4.5 really. My dog can still chew splits on the edges, just while returning them. Much better than the saw edges he was making on the plastic ones. They are holding up well. First rubber Flying Disk I have found that flies very well. Good product.

Love this brand!
I absolutely love Rough Dawg brand. I have a VERY aggressive chewer and have bought her the ball, dumbbell and donut(RIP Donut😬). It's trial and error, really, with this big furbaby. So... I got a puppy recently and he's a chewer as well, so I got him the wee-nut. He loves it!! Especially the crinkle sound!! Well, sister furbaby (large breed aggressive chewer) heard the crinkle and stole it from smaller breed, less destructive baby brother. Not even 5 minutes later... RIP Wee-nut. Again, LOVE THIS BRAND!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Like I said, it's trial and error with an aggressive chewer. It's my personal opinion that this is good for a not so extreme chewer.

Happy dog
You don’t get to pick the color, I was hoping for pink but I got yellow. My dog still loves it though!

NOT THE SAME AS THEY USED TO BE
What happened to this product? I have bought the K9 frisbee a handful of times and it used to come in an assortment of colors (Ty dye) and was quite heavy and durable. Just reordered probably for the 6th time and what I was sent was a flimsy neon rubber disk made not even close to the same materials as previous. It’s a real shame because my dog loved the old product and we play with it almost everyday. Really a shame.. recurring buyers beware
