Looks awesome, no rattle.
I like this its simple but stays on really good. I’ve had issues with a different brand getting loose and rattling. This one looks great and stays put.

Just what I needed for my drum head.
It was just what I needed for my bass drum head. I love the chrome finish and the fact that it was easy to install. It also enhanced the sound of my drum. I had to use Gibraltar hole cutter but this made things much easier for installation. Great product highly recommended for hole protection.

Holy Smoly it's tight
The ring is big enough to get towels in and out. And the chrome fits right. The only complaint is that it's supper difficult to get the two rings to clip with each other. I had to put all my weight on it to get it to clip. Otherwise. This ring is a beauty. Get it.

Great Product!
Spent about 5 minutes cutting the hole, and about 20 to snap it in. It was well worth it! I would suggest having 2 people do it, should be a lot easier.But the drum sounds great and was well worth the price.

Looks great, difficult to install
This thing was pretty inexpensive and looks great, but boy what a pain to install! If they would have just given it a millimeter of wiggle room it would have been a slam dunk, but the pieces fit together so tightly that I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get it to work. After about 20 minutes of cussing I finally got it to snap together the way it's supposed to.

Looks Great - Snap to Install
I installed this on a DW black front resonant head in the 4 o'clock position & it looks great. There is an awesome you tube video by Gibraltar that shows you how to install this step by step. If you purchase this I would recommend that you pass on the hole cutter since you won't need it. Instead you will use a box cutter and use the supplied white plastic ring as a template to cut the hole, it's very easy. The hardest part is when you have to snap the silver outside ring into the inner white ring. You will need a hammer and a flat blade screwdriver and work your way around on a solid surface to get everything to snap in place. This makes it easy to place the mic of your choice boomed into the bass drum.

These rings provide a nice finishing touch to the port hole. Protects it from tearing also.

Looks good, hard to attach
Love the way this looks on my Gretsch kit, but it's a bit hard to get to "adhere." There's a lip over which the external ring attaches to the internal ring, and it was NOT easy to get that to "attach." After about 30mins, i was finally able to make it work. It could be the thickness of the Gretsch head, or it could just be bad design...I'm not sure which. Other than that...looks good, and does what it's suppose to so far.
