Simple to install and use. Solar is the way forward.
Bought for my parents house. The items come well packaged and I found them easy to install with a couple of templates to assist in positioning screwholes.Set up was straightforward with easy connection to the wifi and my folks have had no issues using them despite being less than tech literate.I had some concerns about the solar being enough to keep the bateries topped up and worried I would be around there taking them down to charge but they have been up a good while now with no need to be charged at all.The pictures and videos from the camera are high quality and I have no real complaints about the system at all.

Very happy with this product, only a few minor drawbacks
I took a long time to devide on which security camera system to choose, the primary focus being local storage with no subscription or reliance on high speed internet, and battery powered to allow freedom of placement. This solution fulfills both of those requirements adirmaly especially as this product comes with a the other bells and whistles that other brands charge a huge premium for, such as night vision, 2-way audio, alarm/siren, and LED spotlight. I was also concetned about the strength of the wireless signal from the cameras to the basestation (remember the cameras connect to the basestation, not your router's WiFi) and I'm very impressed by the performance here, even through multiple walls and other sources of wireless interference. I also purchased a cheap 1TB SSD hard drive to expand the storage, this is also a fantastic feature. The app is reasonably intuitive to use, but many of the advanced features are hidden away under a plethora of menus, but I accept it can be challenging to try and pack the amount of advanced features and functions into a simple mobile app interface, I think they've found a happy medium here with this. The mounting process is super easy and hassle free, while the method of adjusting the direction of the camera while mounted can be a bit fiddly, but I think this is due to the anti-theft mechanism of the mount rather than a poor design choice. Once you have the cameras on place, they are very solid and going nowhere. The solar charging performance is fantastic, even with only moderate sunlight the cameras still charge throughout the day, with a cool and quite detailed explanation on the app of the solar charging performance. The 4K camera quality is superb, very crisp and sharp images with no loss of detail, even in low light or direct sunlight. The IR night vision works pretty well, no complaints there, and the spotlight is really bright even on the medium setting!!My favourite part of the app are the different "modes" you can run the system in, for example: Home, Away, Night, etc and how you can program them into a shedule too. You can also customize your own mode too! This is wasn't expecting and I'm very impressed. I haven't tried the geofencing mode yet (where the system knows if you are home or not via the GPS on your phone), but I like it.The cameras can also be programmed with activity zones too, but the interface for drawing them on in the app I find to be very unresponsive and buggy this could be redesigned or improved upon. The Motion Detection works reasonably well, but you'll need to tinker with the settings such as the sensitivity to get it working right for you and the location of the camera. I had to reach out to Eufy support to help me with this, and they gave me some good tips to how to improve the detection with my camera. The system has a motion detection test function to help you identify if the camera is detecting anything after you have set it in position. As I have reported directly to Eufy, this is beyond useless and poorly designed. This works by the camera flashing a Red Led on the front when it detects something after you activate the test mode. However, the Led is so small and so incredibly dim, you can see it unless your 3 inches in front of it! Let along if you have the camera mounted high or if the camera is in direct sunlight. I've suggested this needs to have an indicator on the app instead, but wether or not they try to I prove it, who knows. The last negative I have is that the Basestation has a small cooling fan inside it, as I would expect due to the amount of processing power is has to handle a of the AI face detection etc, but this fan is very loud and whiny. Considering the price of this system, they've chosen a very cheap fan for this. You can easily install a higher quality 40mm or 90mm from someone like Noctua in it and not hear a sound. I might do this myself if I can safely dismantle the Basestation, so don't put this somewhere that it might disturb sleep for example. The Basestation is also compapitble with most of the other smart security products too, which I like, so I'll grab some motion sensors and smart flood lights too.Overall, very pleased with this system, and my colleagues at work are also impressed and will be purchasing similar systems too. Eufy have a referral link programme too, which is nice. Just a few quality of life improvements that could be made but a solid product all in all.

Only had this 3 days.. but the clarity is 100% & while still learning, Facial recognition is amazing. It already recognise myself and neighbours etc.. still learning & experimenting on certain features but so far.. really impressed.. I am gonna buy the connected ring doorbell because if it has these type of features then it’s worth every penny

Happy I bought this
Simple to setup and advanced features allow those with specific needs e.g. scheduling, geofencing and very personalised settings to make the cameras suit your needs. Very happy.

Very good quality but poor Echo/Alexa integration and unresponsive.
Edit: I'm dropping the stars from 3 to 1. One of the cameras died after 4ish weeks. No leds or anything even when charging, its fully broke. Contacted support and after a while they said it needs replacing and to send mine in before they'll send a new one and that ill receive a shipping label within a day. I said okay, waited 5 days, no label. Contacted them again and they had no idea about it so they sent a new label. Posted the camera, wasnt notified when they recieved it so a week later i emailed asking for an update and they said a replacement is being processed and ill have shipping tracking info in 3-5 days. 8 days later still no update or tracking info so i ask again. This time they said 1-3 days. Its been a full work week now and still no info or tracking info. Whats going on? Will i ever get a camera back? Ive not had a working camera for half the time I've owned it now. Honestly maybe the worst customer support ive dealt with, you better hope you don't have a Eufy product break and going by mine only lasting a month they clearly do break. I never normally leave 1 star but if i dont have a working product what can i do?______Picture quality is pretty good. Solar works great, they're always fully charged but it is summer to be fair so this might change in a few months. But ive noticed that with eufy products they have pretty bad alexa/echo integration despite saying it works with them. Seems like bringing the video feed up on them can take 10-15 seconds by which time it's probably too late and for the cameras often it just wont show them on echo devices at all, it'll just say device unavaliable even though it is.They start recording too late too, was hoping they'd have a small internal memory buffer so when it detect motion it'll have the 3 seconds or so of footage beforehand to save too. But it doesn't seem to so by the time it detects a person and starts recording the person has already made it almost to the door. This is with it on maximum sensitivity too.If the system was cheaper then fair enough but this is a very premium/high priced product and i expected more. My £25 tp link cameras detects things quicker, sure they don't have AI based detection but thats not worth 5x the price.

Good but need recharging.
Great product and stable WiFi.However...... If you think these will last a year then be careful. I have 2 out front of a terrace st not a busy one and have to charge it every month during winter months. Every 2 months in summer. However if you have no activity like my back yard and get a lot of sun then maybe you'll see 10-12 months. If you live anywhere with a lot of motion then but the E330 wired power ones.
