It’s been almost a year since we installed these stair tread rugs in our cabin. They were very easy to install because the backing is sticky enough but not too sticky were it damages the wood or is hard to peel off. They are non slip and reduce the noise. After being on the stairs for so long (this is a rental cabin so you can imagine the abuse 😉), it was time to either replace them or try to wash them in a washer. As description indicates, these should be washable. So put them in a washer on a gentle cycle. To my surprise, they came out with no stains and the backing was still sticky! I did not put them in a dryer because they were almost dry. I let them air out overnight and re-installed them in the stairs in the morning without any issues. They look like brand new again! It’s a high quality product and highly recommend it.

These stay so well on the staircase. Very easy to install. I live in a loft with wooden stairs and it helps to have the stairs less slippery. So happy with the quality and the color.

This is the dark grey. We have a brand new house with stained and polyurethaned stairs and a 4 year old dog who flies up and down those stairs. She has slipped, dangerously so, several times. Didn't really want to nail/glue anything to our new stairs if we could avoid it, but also don't want her hurting herself, so opted for these. So far, they seem terrific! The backings are sticky enough that they don't slip even if I try to make them, but super easy to peel up if needed. The wife said they looked cheap right out of the box, but once installed, fully approved of them. I used a cardboard square cut to the desired size as a guide for spacing uniformly. The dog still flies up and down the stairs, but no longer tumbles in the process. These definitely add some nice cushion to the stairs for the humans who have both had knee surgery too. One cat tries not to walk on them though, and chooses to tip-toe along the edge of the stairs instead!UPDATE 7 months later: the cats now use these as scratch pads and have destroyed them. I'm buying more, but trying another brand since price on these went up by about 50% since last purchase. No damage to stairs underneath.

I was sceptical at first as to whether these carpet strips would actually work or not. Happily, they work really well. We purchased them to help our old dog negotiate some slate stairs that have been varnished and were really slippery for her. The carpet has been down now for over a month and are in daily, constant use by the family and the old dog. They haven't moved at all and our dog doesn't hesitate to use them. They also blend in with the slate colour very nicely. They are of good quality and look like they should last quite a while. We are definitely pleased with our purchase and would recommend them.
