Received the unit yesterday and installed. For the model received (350), it was an RJ11 (telephone jack) connector. Simple. Configuration is a little clunky but repetition is a great teacher and the available online manuals are helpful, too. Struggled more with inability to squarely mount the unit but that is a deficit of personal design. Had below freezing temps and set the furnace to ~40F and it worked as it should. There was a 9F degree difference between zones but there is a calibration setting that can even out the difference. Don't forget about night mode, especially, if the unit is in the boudoir. (panicked a little on that one).Not sure how to describe the screen as it is a plastic type material and not glass like on a smart phone or tablet. It does not have the same responsiveness as glass but it does work well. Resolution is okay. Enclosure is substantial and does not feel cheap. Head and shoulders above of the unit it replaced.Really bought this for wifi & bluetooth connectivity. Remote access to interior environment is a great asset and the simplification of controls is a huge plus.The price point is a little on the high side but that is an opinion predicated on current bank account balances. Would have more cost to value if it were a little of the $200 mark. Says the choosy beggar.All-in-all, this is (so far) a great unit that was very easy to install and also not bad to setup. Connectivity is very good as is the build quality. And it's made in America, baby!

Super simple to install and start using. I wanted this thermostat for the full auto switching between AC, heat pump and furnace. It works perfectly!My wife and I just got back from a trip and spent a night in the Phoenix area. It was hot in the evening so we had the AC on, but I had to get up in the middle of the night to switch to heat pump because the temp outside dropped so much. This eliminates the up in the middle of the night to change settings!We live in the mountains and it’s currently December, so our overnight lows are in the 20’s, but it warms to mid 50’s during the day. We are heading out on our next trip in less than two weeks, so I didn’t want to winterize the RV. This makes efficient use of the furnace / propane by switching to heat pump when the temp is above 30 (that temp is configurable). I’m not nearly as worried about needing to run to get the propane tank refilled with this thermostat.The phone app is a very nice bonus! Our RV chassis doesn’r display inside/outside temp, but we should be able to look at that on the app when we want.I’m just super happy with this investment! Kudos to Micro-Air, this is a very well executed product.

Such an upgrade from the Dometic demon of a controller that was hard to activate and had a mind of its own. This took seriously 10 minutes to install and that’s because I had to walk back and forth to the garage looking for a screwdriver small enough to fit in the old controller to loosen the three wires. This is our bedroom one and after using this one I’ll be replacing the living area one as well. It is touch screen but it takes little more pressure then say your phone or tablet. My fingers are little more course so that could also be why. I’d highly upgrade from the Dometic stuff. This is an AC only so it won’t tell me the outside temperature but it will show the evaporator temp which is good if it’s freezing you’ll know or if it fails be simple to diagnosis. It has many options if you were to live in the rv for set times WiFi and Bluetooth. I’ll be using the blue tooth since the living room controller is blocked by a slide and to run the AC while driving on a hot trip in the summer it’s near impossible to use. Now I’ll be able from my phone to activate it with ease. 5 stars!
